Furthermore that game was AT Dayton, that is a very tough place to play.

Oh come on. AU beat them by 13 there last season. Quit getting your panties all bunched up. AU will wipe the court with MSU, so it's a moot point.

Have to? We are a basketball school. We don’t get hung up on sports that will be extinct in 15 years

He's a much better x's and o's coach than Avery for sure. If Bama hadn't been spending so much money on football players right at the beginning of Grant's time in Tuscaloser, and they had anything in the budget for any basketball talent then maybe Grant could have actually built something decent there.

Also he needs some legitimate fan support with his boring arse style to make it exciting like he had at VCU. Dayton's a good fit.

That's actually a pretty good and relevant point when it comes to slow starts and scoring, but it's not going to stop be from pointing out that Auburn scored nearly as much at halftime (51) as Mississippi State did the whole game (65). Bryce Brown also scored nearly as much by himself vs Dayton in the first have as State's whole team did (Brown 22 vs State 26)

So? You were down by 12-15 in the 1st half when Dayton stopped hitting shots. Both teams played like trash.

I didn't watch that game. Would you say that Dayton is just a really solid mid major, or is State overrated being in the top 25? I thought State was probably overrated, but Dayton is playing us well right now. They don't give up, they keep fighting and won't go away.

Dayton has brought it back to single digits, but Auburn is fun to watch.

Dayton beat Butler and kept it close with UVA. They're decent and Grant is a good coach. That conference is a wasteland this season though.

Dayton is a strong, physical team. They have no quit in them and are giving us all we can handle.

Their style of play keeps games close. If they can keep this shooting up they will absolutely stay in the game.

We've lost focus over the last several minutes on both ends.

Yeah, we've got to stop this run.

Seems like Chuma hasn't been out there much tonight. Wonder why that is?

Dayton seemed solid defensively. Not surprised they held Mississippi State to only 65.

Dayton definitely made us sweat for that W. Fun game to watch.

State fans, no need to be embarrassed that you could barely score on this Dayton team.

Dayton played tough. They could have thrown in the towel a couple of times, but just kept fighting.

Yea, I was impressed with their fight.

With as much as the bottom of the SEC is struggling this year, Dayton would probably be a middle tier SEC team this season. 6th to 10th in the SEC IMO

I agree.

Dayton is better than 50% of the SEC.

Auburn is just that good.

Auburn IS that good, but at the same time the bottom half of the SEC this season is THAT bad.
