yeah the SEC has definitely been a disappointing shitshow for the most part so far

Agreed.

Can we also all finally agree now that Jared Harper > Chris Chiozza?

Bryce Brown has 22 points

Bryce finished with 34 points

Jared Harper finished with 20

Auburn's 2 starting guards alone scored almost as many on Dayton by themselves (54) as Mississippi State's entire team did (65)

No?

Florida's offense has gone from one of the best in the country last year to a disorganized shitshow and the only difference is no Chiozza

Bro, you're ridiculous. This was a decent argument as to who was better last season when Harper was a SO and Chiozza was a veteran SR. But as Harper continues to develop and get better, there's no question he's a much better player overall. By the time Harper graduates his career will blow out Chiozza's, and he's already passing him up now.

Maybe defensively Chiozza was better than Harper, but if you're trying to argue based on offense then it's not even close, Harper is miles ahead of Chiozza offensively.

Harper was a better scorer when he got to AU than Chiozza was when he left UF. Chiozza's best season as a scorer was his SR year, 11.1 ppg. Harper's worst scoring season was as a FR, he averaged 11.4 ppg.

As a distributor Harper has been better at each step of his career than Chiozza was and so far as a JR has already surpassed Chiozza as a SR.

Lets compare Chiozza's JR season to Harper's so far, then Chiozza's career #s to Harper's up to this point

Jr Season:
-Chiozza - 7.2 ppg, 3.8 apg, 1.3 spg
-Harper - 13.9 ppg, 6.8 apg, 1.1 spg (all those will go up after tonight's game is added btw)

Career #s:
-Chiozza - 7.4 ppg ( ), 4.1 apg, 1.4 spg
-Harper - 12.5 ppg, 4.5 apg, 1.2 apg

If Harper were 3 inches taller he'd be a 1st round draft pick in 2019. He won't get drafted because of his size but he'll have a lot of teams wanting him on their G-League squad and despite his size I really wouldn't be that shocked to see him work his way up to an NBA roster.

Auburn = 90s Bulls
SEC = Eastern Conference
MSU = Knicks?
