There is nothing that is similar between the 2011 vs 2014 team:
On Offense the 2011 team had 1 returning starter on the OL vs 2014 where all but one returns.
In 2011 AU had one returning WR with any experience vs 2014 all the WRs return.
In 2011 the starting QB was Barrett Trotter vs 2014 where Gus will have a returning Stating QB for the first time in his AU Career.
On Defense the 2011 had to replace Fairley and Clayton vs 2014 where everyone returns except Ford.
In 2011 they had to replace starter Bynes and Stephens with Jake Holland vs 2014 replacing Jake Holland with anyone.
In 2011 the secondary consisted of players that where starting for the first time vs 2014 returning a secondary almost intact plus returning injured players.
In 2011 the DC was Roof vs 2014 the second year of Ellis Johnson.
If you think the similarities are scary and Auburn will have a similar record of the 2011 team, I suggest you stay away from Vegas

I've got Alabama at 10-2 as well. Assuming the defense is back to normal and the running game helps the new QB along. Talent alone should get Alabama to 9-3.

They also could have won the national championship! Sometimes you have to be good to be lucky. Auburn was good. Give them credit. They also could have beaten LSU early in the season if they get the call on the onsides kick. They played a great BCS title game as well. Tiger fans everywhere respect the War Eagles!

I tend to think the West is between Alabama, Auburn, and LSU next year. Among the three, none of them have the advantage schedule wise. Should be a fun year.

AU will have a much better team and the schedule is backended, so early in the season they can work on the passing game. First 5 games:
Aug. 30–Arkansas at Auburn
Sept. 6–San Jose State at Auburn
Sept. 20–Auburn at Kansas State
Sept. 27–Louisiana Tech at Auburn
Oct. 4–LSU at Auburn
