Actually a lot of it is aubies trying to tell msu'ers that yes they could be investigated as well. And msu folks saying there was no way. Then went to the whole semantics debate about cam.

There is NO way the NCAA hammers MSU without more hammering AU.

sure there is. If MSU coaches were in on the talks and what not and they offered them money, something could happen to them and nothing will happen to Auburn. You guys are still operating in the "if MSU did it then Auburn did it too" world. (not saying we didn't do anything because its not known yet, but as of now there is no evidence of it).

That doesn't equate to deflection commenting on your post. I was merely pointing out to you the many threads of State fans deflecting the Investigation.
ETA: I will concede though the fact the rumors have started at an AU MB would certainly fall under some deflection without any credible sources backing up the claim.

some of you idiots need to quit being so hindsight-ed....... it's an opinion... I'm not really gonna bet my life on it, but I feel pretty strongly AU did not pay for Newton..... where's the money?.... cecil is a confirmed moron, yet he can hide a few grand from every swinging dick report in America?... come on. No one was paying for Cam coming out of JUCO... No body.

Are you really this stupid, or just trolling?
No.. on both counts. However, please read what the other poster stated. It really helps.. :)
I will try once more. The poster stated that cam's dad tried to NEGOTIATE. The link I gave you supported that comment. Nowhere in the quote of the poster that you used does said poster mention Cecil initiated anything.. rather that Cecil negotiated.

No MSU official made such an offer. Is Rogers an MSU official?
No he is not. waiting for you to go there... warming up the ole

No, he didn't. he admitted to negotiations taking place, not that he tried, and they refused.
Of this whole STUPID thread, the above is the best statement EVER!! I so love these type of comments!!

How is this so hard for you?
This implies Cecil tried to negotiate with State, or someone representing State (Rogers), and his advances were declined.
It is just as likely (if not more likely) that Rogers tried to negotiate with Cecil, and Cecil didn't bite, hence Cam going to Auburn.

........
It's not hard. I'm simply going by what Cecil stated, Rogers stated, Bond stated, Bell stated, and facts surrounding all of that.
Here again, you are saying that Cecil saying that he negotiated could mean alot of different things, and it does NOT. Cecil DID not say Rogers was lying. Cecil stated he tried to get money and most of your own fans actually understand that even though they hate that it happened..
Cecil did not say that Rogers negotiated with him.. He stated that "I" meaning CECIL negotiated..

There is still a chance that if during investigating MSU that the NCAA finds out that Cam had knowledge of it, then he could be ruled ineligible without Auburn having any wrong-doing. Although, I could see the NCAA in that scenerio, not requiring Auburn to forfeit games, but removing Cam's player stats and records.
What is most unfortunate is that there are a couple of more years left in this story.

How could they remove his stats and not have them forfeit games? If they remove stats, that would remove touchdowns. Either the guy is guilty of not, and if he is then he should have been ruled ineligible a long time ago. The SEC nor the NCAA didn't rule this way, so whether we like it or not, it's a done deal. They knew that Cam knew what went on, but couldn't prove it, and I don't see how anyone could, so there is nothing to be done. I just don't understand why the SEC didn't rule him ineligible when his father admitted to having tried to make a deal with MSU. That's against the SEC rules whether Cam knew about it or not. Slive is the guilty person here, and should take the punishment and step down. He swore that he wanted all SEC teams off probation, and if to obtain that goal he is only going to put his head in the sand, then we don't need someone like him.

Maybe you should apply for the Bama Compliance Position, that is open. Since you "know" the rules and how they are interpreted.

not the only one. Greed for money is the guilty party.
In the end, if there ever will be one, Cam and family will get the big bucks, Au will get the shaft along with the SEC, Slive will get the shaft and the ESPN will talk about it for years.......

if AU escapes clean(which I think they have) then AU has been lucky as hell
MSU will be made to pay the price I imagine
