Not a slam on Auburn, just not sure why he would leave what he's got now, which is a pretty damn good thing.
Don't think he would unless it was for a LOT more $

Kiffin is holding out for Bama job

Would make more sense than Kiffin. Freeze is bringing a ranked Liberty team to Fayetteville this weekend against our pass D. Probably not bad for the resume...

What would be the point of going to Auburn? It's almost a lateral move. And the expectations will be much higher there

Insider information. $20 million if he goes to a west school $15 million to an east school $9.5 million for other power 5 programs

If I was him I would stay at Ole Miss until a better job opens up.

Leave Ole Miss for a team in the same division that he can already beat?
Saban was 4-1 vs Bama when he was at LSU. Look where he ended up.

Hopefully they wouldn't take Kiffin for free. His best win is a 5-3 Kentucky and nearly lost to A&M and Vandy.

He ended up in Miami.

Kiffin is not the top target.
Jimmy Sexton is looking to get Lane another raise.
Smoke and mirrors folks.

It's the hardest job in America. He'd be dumb to go there.

And came back to coach at Bama.

I dont see it. Auburn is a better job than Ole Miss but is also a mess. I think he waits on a even bigger job.

Why take the barn job when he can get the Bama job in a year or two?
He’s not getting that job and he can immediately taunt Saban in the same state at his rival

Why would Kiffin possibly leave the completely stable job he's in now, with a fan base that will be totally happy if he just makes a NY6 bowl every few years, to join the obviously completely unstable Auburn program?
Why are Bama fans already in a pre-melt over Kiffin

He can taunt Saban where he's at now. He's just the fun name that everyone throws out in the beginning. They'll announce Jeremy Chadwell in a few weeks.
