I've actually been there. It's like entering a time warp. That picture has me crying.

He looks like he should be struggling to make his middle school team.

Grundy County TN says hello. I really recommend the High Point restaurant in Monteagle.

This kid is simply showing his intelligence. He knows actually playing isn't a prerequisite for raking in some sweet NIL bucks.

I'm not familiar with that history.

But the aforementioned area was the home to the real-life "Walking Tall" story, to bootleggers and bushwackers back to the Jackson Highway to Natchez Trace days. Rugged country that never developed one damn thing outside of some other criminal activity and white trash criminal-inspired country music songs. I did grow up about 20 miles south of there, so I did appreciate a place not so picky about age identification when I was a kid.

Black is as varied as white. Dudes grow up where they are and take on those attitudes and behaviors.

It's just a guy being a guy from what life presented him.

That said, I wish life had presented a toothbrush. He'll blow his entire first-year NIL package getting the shite polished and scrapped of those chicklets.

I got you. However if your car ever gets stolen, it's parts will probably be found on a mountain in Grundy County.

The High Point restaurant in Monteagle is an upscale restaurant in a stone residence originally paid for by AL Capone. I recommend it.

That's naive, brother.

I do hope the kid the best. We get wrapped around a lot of shite, but a chance at a college education and the opportunity to keep playing the sport he loves with his friends is life-altering.

While true, I hope so much that he goes all Tre Smith over some team.
