Yeah WWII ended when Walter Cronkite reported it and he is an institution and pillar of the free press based on what I’ve read.

WWII ended in 1945. The “Baby Boom” began as soon as our boys started arriving home in late 1945-46. The Boom lasted until 1964. So to be a “boomer” you’d need to be born between 1945/46 and 1964.

We original boomers graduated from high school in the late 60’s. We have since learned how to Google “boomer” and the subsequent “Generation X”, even those of us who got a low number in that military draft lottery in the early 70’s when you say we were born.
