I agree with everything but Luper to OC. I can see Yox moving on also.

Malzahn, Troop, Roof, and Yox = gone, iyam. Don't really care who replaces them. I'm tired of seeing scrawny players running around. For Pete's sake, Bama is huge in terms of players. The defense is obviously a joke. And I just want Troop gone before he lands us sanctions. Plus, our WR group isn't exactly playing well right now. Also, we need a new secondary coach. Period. Our players don't even turn their fricking heads when the ball is in the air.

Troop isnt gone. For those that say he should be for dirty tactics, he apparently can hide itfrom the NCAApretty well. Our receivers have played okay. The ones that suck have played bad. Nobody could make Carr a good receiver, he has sucked since he got here. Benton can't run theright route. Yox, maybe gone, maybe not. Roof should be gone. From who I've talked to, I don't think Malzahn is gone, but there is still a good chance he leaves still.

Auburn got lucky last year picking up Cam. I really thought they were headed toward TA&M type slide. It may be 10 years before they recover.

We have no depth and the youngest team in the NCAA. It's not an excuse, but it is legit. We will be much better next year and the sec west will be very fun.

LSU's S&C coach has been there for 12 years and he seems to be doing fine. I'm going to have to agree with a few posters that you are just making shite up.

Malzahn screwed himself by not leaving last year. All he can hope for now is a 2nd tier program job.

He wasn't offered anything great last season. If anything, he might get better job offers.

He has to be making that up.

Yox has been one of the best S&C coaches in the country. In fact, it wasn't too long ago that he won an award for the work he's done with Auburn's players.

Aside from Cam & Nick, no we didnt. The O-line just performed spectacularly as a unit and they all new their assignments. They got pushed around in games that they didnt show up mentally. Their success was more technique than physicality. That's nothing to complain about but I've yet to see any of our units just be physically elite as far as strength, size, speed etc. If you dont believe me look at last years' linemans' combine numbers.

I'm starting to think the same way. Some of the AU guys at the NFL combine put up terrible numbers. Thinking of Ziemba specifically.

And Vandy and Maryland were top-of-the-line jobs?

Get a clue man. Malzahn is going to be a hot commodity no matter what. He knows his stuff. Yeah, I think his playcalling has been bad at times, but his hand may be forced at times because the offensive line has been so bad. Hard to run any kind of offense when you're front five can't block.

And FWIW, I think Chiz may be in his ear some. Not gonna lie, I'm getting a little impatient with Chiz. Not calling for any heads or anything, but it's time for the guy to make some wholesale changes. His defenses have been a laughingstock at AU.

Here's a stat for Chizik: His defenses have given up at least 30 points in 31 of his 61 career games as a head coach. Does the guy need 80 to get dropped on his D before he tries something else?

How many of our starting dbacks have you seen actually come up and put a punishing hit on anyone? Therezie is the only one I've seen actually lay the pipe once or twice this year.

Thorpe is a pussy and completely scared to hit anyone. He has missed tackle after tackle because of his swollen vagina. Go back and watch any game. He comes up on the hole, it's him and the rb 1 on 1 at the hole, he dives like a child at the ground barely even getting a finger on the rb. This mentality should have benched his arse long ago.

How many BIG hits have you seen against our players?
How many big hits have we made? I remember maybe just 3 this whole year.

Okay, I'm just trying to release a bit of frustration...

Half of the issue is coaching/technique & half of the issue is being scrawny & physically inferior to the opponent IMO. It's hard to decide to go up and hit stick someone when it's pretty obvious they're bigger/ stronger than you

i don't really get all the malzahn love.

his playbook is fairly simple:

1- jet sweep read option left
2- jet sweep read option right

you would have thought, that after he lost cam, that he would have made an adjustment. but, he didn't.
