Because these frickers came charging through the front door like a bunch of rabid dogs 12 years ago bragging about how they were going to "take over the SEC" with all of their money and Texas size arrogance. They were going to out spend and beat the frick out of all of us in every sport. Here we are 12 years later and they haven't won shite. I realize they had a bunch of pent up frustration at the time, and at this point they've kind of resigned themselves to the fact that they aren't any better off, but it's still funny as shite to make fun of them for it. Added to which, I haven't seen anything even remotely close from OU and Texas before joining the conference, even though they have much more to brag about from a historic perspective.

2) The fact that championships in a larger, tougher league have been hard to win is unsurprising.
3) The notion that we are no better off than we were 12 years ago is idiotic, even by LSU standards. Branding, facilities, exposure, national interest have all improved dramatically.

Nope. Students at Texas A&M are requred to go to class and perform large amounts of difficult homework.

Some of my favorite games are between the two. I just enjoy the game cause someone has to win and someone has to lose.
I tend to pull for the underdog, or am at least entertained by watching the Ags give UK hell in basketball. That OT football game in Kyle is the only time theve met. And that was a great game.
As for current baseball, will probably pull for the Ags. We were pretty close a couple years ago, Schloss is an easy guy to like, and while I think he's a good coach Mangione rubs me the wrong way at times. Not in a Joey V dooshnozzle way or a Fran arrogance way, but he isn't as likeable to me as many.
ETA: if they both go to Omaha, I'm not getting crap done for a week.

I have family in eastern KY so I’ve been a UK basketball fan ever since I was a kid. A&M is my alma mater though so I always support them in football. Nice to see there are some KY-TX connections in college sports
