I can't imagine being the anti-American, unpatriotic, first responder hating, miserable, liberal frick that down voted my OP.
It was probably Boom33.

Not a criticism - just an Observation.
It would be nice if people from college station Texas acted like they cared about people from New York City - and vice versa - more than once a year. It’d be a lot harder for a-hole politicians to play us off each other

Since we are playing ASU, a lot of Aggies would like to also see a tribute to Pat Tillman done.
Hope something gets done there.

Well done, Ags. That looks fantastic.

The original Red White and Blue out was completely student driven and pulled together with bubblegum and duct tape. I really don’t know how they logistically made it happen but I can honestly say it was the most proud of the students I’ve ever been.
It was well done, heartfelt, and the money they raised was properly given away.

I'm not amazed it was pulled off. Texas A&M students do a lot of volunteering and are good with organization. And patriotism and duty is an important core of A&M values. I left in 1998. When my son was choosing a college, I told him Texas A&M in part because of this. He's now a freshman. College Station looks very little like the small town it did in 1998. Freebird's is still there, burrito is on my list for the next visit.

The quesadilla is the standout.
The burritos are good but that quesadilla is the tits.

I give plenty of smack to the Aggies here and they return the favor. That said, I've been to their campus many times. The fans there are top notch. Their patriotism is a cut above the rest. It really is a great place to see a football game in the evening. For all the clowning about yell leaders don't fall for the foolishness. There's straight up 10's covering that campus. Cheers Aggies. Well done for today's game.

It’s good to be reminded that there is still heart in this country
It’s the good stuff that’s doesn’t make the heads lines, the crazy anti American culture in Cali NY Chicago Seattles of this country are not actually the true reps as long as we keep the electoral college. The smaller communities have a voice in how this country goes forward

Back in my day, a Chicken Oil company greasy burger and fries and a medicinal cold beer was a pregame recovery ritual . Lol

Yeah I’m no Aggie but what they do on this anniversary is awesome.

It was cool. I was there, in the white section in the end zone. I think they called “The Zone” back then. Against Ok st if my memory serves me correctly.

I still have my tshirt from that game, except that it is really old and ratty now. Keep that and my towel only for sentimental reasons

I don’t really travel to the south much these days. And I’m okay with that
