I as stationed in Naples, Italy preparing to leave the Navy. a couple years later I'd be on the ground in Kandahar in the Army. The tributes are heartwarming, I just can't figure out how our "elected leaders" let us lose the war on terror.

It wasn't some altruistic thing. Like many that end up there I made some bad decisions that left it as my best option. But thank you.
