When Nashville Dome gets built it’ll be a good place to consider

I agree. If there were a rotation, Nashville makes the most sense to add (if they had a dome).

... and to others about the Sugar Bowl, I agree. LSU has won 4 NCs and played in 1 more. All 5 were played in New Orleans. You can't move the Sugar Bowl though.

Personally, I live in Atlanta, so it's great for me. It sucks always walking into a 70:30 minimum, but I get to conveniently go. Also, LSU is 5-2 in the SECCG, so it ultimately doesn't matter presumably.

Yes, it's an unfair advantage to UGA.

No, there isn't a more central location with a suitable stadium.

No, Nashville won't be better for a game that can have as little as 1 week notice for tickets/travel (though the stadium might be even nicer.)

LSU will never have the majority of the fans in the seats. Five of the seven times we've been there, it hasn't mattered.

If it’s not rotated, they should give each school 35000 tickets. And use the rest for corporate sponsorship

The economics don't make sense. There have been some weak matchups in the past with a ton of empty seats. I get that they need to sell those tickets.

I really think New Orleans would be a better city to host it in.

The city is perfect for big games like that.

They should rotate Houston, Atlanta, and Nashville.

Texas and OU joining moves the geographic center of the conference further west. While several schools are close to Atlanta, just as many will be able to say the same about Dallas, Houston, and Nashville. I think a rotating SECCG between those four sites would be reasonable. All 4 cities will have domed stadiums, large airports that make it easy to get there and plenty of hotel space.

Note: Dallas will swing on what happens to the Big 12, but they could rotate between Dallas and Houston as Jerry will want that SEC money.

I would support this too. The only reason I left out Dallas was the Big12 already being there. I think that would only leave Missouri far away from at least one spot.

It's funny LSU fans only want this. I've never seen another fan base complain about the location

It's the biggest city in the south and one of the biggest airports in the world. They're not moving it.

Hell no, Atlanta is a good fit. We beat UGA several times in the past. We just had better talent back then. It’s neutral when you know you’re in and really have a shot at winning. We beat Tennessee there as well. We just were outmanned and out numbered last night. Our fans just chose not to travel because they knew what the outcome was going to be before they kicked off.

Spend a little money to build a state of the art indoor facility and we’ll consider it.

It's as good as it gets for Auburn and Alabama. Who else is going from the West besides them and LSU?

Air travel and hotels rule Nashville out.

They ticket allotment works for the game because they get theirs (and cuts of the ticket resales). It screws the fans.

*really wish some reporter would dig into the bowl/school ticket broker kick backs on already sold tickets. They shouldn’t have a dog in that hunt.

Atlanta is the perfect set up for the SECCG, it’s better located than New Orleans, Houston, and Dallas, set up better for tourism than Nashville or Charlotte, and excels in dealing with air travel considering Hartsfield is the busiest airport in the world. There’s a reason why Atlanta hosted the Olympics, is a host city for the 2026 World Cup, and has the college football hall of fame.

Y'all don't seem to understand that contracts don't work this way, the entire college football world doesn't revolve around the sec. The minute that the game moves out of Atlanta for any reason the ACC is going to swoop in and sign an every year contract and then the SEC won't be able to play tje seccg there again ever. And the sec is obviously not dumb enough to give them that concession so you can plan on it beinf there for the long haul
