You can deny it all you want, but all those guys came to Oxford for Lane. The ones that didn't came from the portal this off season because they could get premium dollar from a desperate program. Neither avenue is sustainable. We've seen it before, it happens all the time.

Holy Irony batman. Did you not see the 50 million dollar roster LSU put on the field Saturday? It was because Lane was desperate and paid way way over asking price for Leavitt, Dottery, Princly, Seaton and the WR because he HAD too. You are completely backwards here my guy.

Not a single person on the defense was recruited by lane. Pete was also the main recruiter for many of the offensive players as well.
Kiffin also had the least amount of transfers follow him to his new school of any new coach. Why didn’t they follow lane to lsu if they came to ole miss for lane?

I'm sure there were several different reasons.
1. They werent asked to come along
2. They had a solidified starting position
3. They were paid above market value
4. Loyalty
5. Convenience

The annual war chest is the reason Lane came to LSU. And he will have it every year. Ole Miss will not. They scraped it together for 1 season to keep the party going after the host left town. No irony here, just failure to realize the situation.

Ole Miss has been top 10 nationally for the last 4 years. This isn't 2015 anymore.
