But it's Lane's team amirite

Yes it is because LSU fans said so!

Pete has exceeded my expectations so far.

But beating "Big Game Lane" isn't exactly a great measuring stick.

When has Lame Kiffin done to win a championship at any of his head coaching career?

I’ll admit I’m wrong when Trinidad is gone and he reloads and stays on the same
Trajectory.
Right now my prediction is good shot at a natty this year and fired two years later just like Orgeron. He ain’t coaching up what Trinidad has. He’s just a special player like Burrow.

He's on track to have a higher recruiting class every class than Lane's highest

I’ve got a good feeling Ole Miss fans is gonna admit they were wrong before I do.

I'm old enough to remember when LSU fans were absolutely enamored with Brian Kelly and kept saying he just needed "one more year" to get things going.

Golding bought some time with the fluke win, but he will likely be down the road in 3-4 yrs.

He could be good. I just would like to see what kind of team he had with our Trinidad.

He reminds me of chizik with newton.

Trinidad is the team, they have some good players, but he would make any sec team very good because he is good and clutch

Not an Ole Miss fan my guy so I don't follow your recruiting but am I wrong to say give a 1st time head coach 3yrs to cycle thru every holdover from the previous head coach before you declare him the GOAT or Bust? I get it as a fan of the team you want to believe that you have the right guy in charge I don't fault you for being positive about your program but it's a bit early to determine either way no? So maybe just maybe don't be so cock sure becauae of the outcome of 1 very emotionally charged game little fella!

Pete Golding was forged in the fire.

He'll out-Kiffin Kiffin next year and land a QB out of the portal. If you don't see that coming, you're not paying attention. LSU got Leavitt this year. Remember, portal rankings don't always line up with who's most in demand, especially at QB.

You’re a 3.5 point dog to Florida. Talk to me afterwards.

In b4: "It's with Lane's players"

Kinda? Would Pete have found Trinidad in a bargain bin at Ferris State? Credit to him for convincing Trinidad to stay though. In this era that's a real skill.

I'm reminded of when Brett Venables had OU doing really well with Dillon Gabriel. Pete's assembled a good staff, the NIL pipeline is solid, and I trust he'll have Ole Miss consistently good on defense. Can he ensure Ole Miss is consistently bringing in and developing QBs? If so, he'll keep them good. If not, they might fall off.

I think he's at least proved the disaster talk to be silly wishcasting. I also think it's still an open question if he can sustain this success.
