No doubt, and it really doesn't improve much, if any, from Hammond to Slidell. The entire stretch is just a hellscape.

You are exactly right. I don't understand why some people think it is a point of pride to put their child in a worn out vehicle. If said children are well behaved, responsible, doing all of the right things in life and it poses no financial hardship for the parents, why not put them in the nicest and most reliable option that makes sense?
This line of thought is so tired and ridiculous. I have two smart, responsible children and I bought both of them brand new vehicles when they turned 16. Both vehicles have been well kept and have none of the issues you describe. It all depends on the child.
As a big fan of the series I had been looking forward to watching the movie for months. I was extremely underwhelmed and disappointed.
re: Has anyone ever made it through a whole stick of chapstick using as directed?

Numerous times, but I am addicted and have kept a tube of Chapstick on my person at all times for the past 25+ years. That being said, I’ve had way more lost or melted than I’ve actually finished.
I own a company and we have a self-funded healthcare plan for employees. The cost of name brand medications are absolutely destroying our plan. And every overweight person getting their doctor to diagnose them as "pre-diabetic" and prescribing them a GLP-1 is a major issue. Huge scam. The current model is unsustainable, something has to be done.
I didn’t think he was the right guy when he was hired and I still feel the same, even more so. A decent coach, but not good enough for a program with the history and expectations of Alabama.
I thought only Alabama had the bought and paid for refs? Or at least that’s what I read on this site every time they win a game.

At least the "axed" him about it beforehand so he didn't have to burn the building down.
Yeah, everyone heard the same thing when y’all hired that loser Brian Kelly.

I wish the pathetic Saints would leave Louisiana. And they can take the Pelicans with them on the way out.

I aspire to, at some point in my life, live in a place where you can step into the yard between December and April without needing to put on rubber boots.
“astrick”…..my God, there are some true scholars on this site.
So you think ND would have gone 7-1 in SEC play?
No…..gumps know the difference between “are” and “or”.

I’ve been to France and I can confirm that Paris is the most overrated city on Earth. And the answer is yes - he’s definitely married to a tranny.

This. They remind me of my wife and children. Everything is rooted in emotion.

How many of the teams in the CFP would have gone 7-1 in SEC play?
And now it’s equally amusing to watch LSU fans try to convince themselves and everyone else that they don’t care.
It’s actually amusing…..

to watch LSU fans, to use their favorite term, MELT over Alabama getting into the CFP while knowing with certainty that if LSU had gone 10-2 / 7-1 and lost in the SECCG each and every one of them would make the case that they deserved to be in. Better luck next year little fellas.
