Ahh, it feels a lot like post-season...
A glorious time of the year when Texas is still playing games and Aggie is riding dick.

They are not the same team.

They sure look like they have cranked it up a level at the right time.

Everybody ever week has said this about a different team.

Texas or UGA can beat them in a 1 game scenario - they have the talent to match and have been tested.

So what you're saying is, Ohio St beats Texas 9 out of 10?

What we've seen all season from all teams is that it's hard for a team to play their best multiple games in a row. That was one of Josh Pate's points of how the Texas/ASU game could be close and that's actually what we saw.
OSU has played phenomenal the last 2 games, and Texas played horrible this last game. Very possible things switch up a bit when they actually play each other.

You guys know that each game is independent of the other, right?

I’m saying a 1 game playoff it is a crap shoot. One team shows out and the other is in a funk. It happens. They play 10 times I got Texas 5 times and Ohio State 5 times. It’s even. Same with UGA. All 3 are loaded with talent, good coaches and been tested. Anyone’s game.

Yes the Oregon bludgeoning the Tenn bludgeoning were independent of each other.

Bury your head in the sand if you want but the Michigan loss lit that fire. They’re in the zone and at the right time.

Texas pulls the upset in Dallas.
On no planet do we win that game. Ewers play combined with Sark's horrendous red zone play calls. There's no way.
It's going to get out of hand fast if they jump up on us quickly and Sark panics and completely abandons the run. Putting the game on Quinn's arm against that defense would be really ugly.
I guess anything's possible but I just don't see a path to victory. Georgia is the only team left that could beat them.

How are UGA and Texas scoring 30 points on OSU? I guess we will see, but I don't see that happening and OSU is going to be scoring points

The bigger issue for Texas IMO is that OSU has beaten 4 teams that are higher ranked than any team Texas has beat this season. And 3 of those 4 games were blowouts. Texas has not been tested at all this year for how deep in the season it is, 0 top 10 wins
Texas defense is good - but is it elite? Im not sure. Clemson is really the only team they have played this year with a good passing attack, and they were able to move the ball pretty well. UGA and Arizona St were able to pound them on the ground
Out of the remaining teams, I think UGA or PSU has the best chance at beating OSU. PSU defense played well against OSU earlier this year and their offense is starting to get in a roll, while UGA has the best defense in the playoffs + stout run game

Ohio State could win this big, who knows, but to suggest Texas doesn't stand a chance is bonkers.

Smith isn't playing against OSU's secondary, which is objectively the best in CFB.
Is this dude on crack...the best in CFB?

Of all the teams Michigan played this year, o$u had by far the worst secondary...they hold all the time, they're afraid of contact, and they have the average IQ of a mop bucket. In columbus, they're some "great" secondary. In the rest of the college football world, they're SOFT and OVERHYPED!

OSU will mount and spit Texas out their arsh! UT is a paper tiger.

That's the key for Texas, stop the initial surge by Ohio State or limit it to as few points as possible.. .Then it becomes a dog fight. Oregon wasn't prepared for the initial surge and let them move the ball and score at will.
They gotta get pressure on Ohio State's QB early and often, and try to contain their run game early at the same time. Going to be a gigantic job...
Ewers can't keep missing open receivers downfield with over throws or under throws. He's gotta be perfect, or they have no shot at all.

The oregon game was billed as the "true national championship" and it was an intense game for both teams. We might catch osu a little flat if we're lucky. We need to get really lucky to have a prayer in this game.
