You don't. That's the twisted brilliance of all this. If you're only protecting you - you pick the point where enough is enough.

They've messaged this shite where how far will you go to protect somebody else ? The answer to that is never enough - unless you're selfish.

It's a lie. But a damn good one.

If the government were half, frick a fourth, as good at actually governing as they are at propaganda, we would live in a much better world.

The OP literally stated that maybe yellow stars should be worn on clothing. What do you think that alludes to?

Have they? Or was it from some underlying condition. Hospitals were getting big money to report deaths as Covid. Factor that in.

Ah - the old "first person to call it Fascism loses" gambit.

Well - sorting people according to where they may or may not assemble, based upon their compliance with a government edict - is kinda' how that sort of thing starts.

We don't tell folks who don't vax their kids - you know, with an actual vaccine - that they can't have dinner inside at the local Pizza Hut.

Just curious, would you be cool with the government mandating it (legality aside)?

If it saves lives and returns things to normal then ya. People are all saying “well, I’m in a low risk group so don’t need it” but then they go on to spread it and it’s variants to high risk groups who may not be able to get the vaccine from being immune-compromised.

Same things with masks, as someone who lost someone in the family to COVID, I have no sympathy for those complaining about the inconvenience of wearing a mask when it can save lives.

But hey, if some people want to not use common sense and make the most basic of sacrifices, then say goodbye to the economy. People constantly getting sick and potential for more lockdowns can will slow/trash the economy, and it’s easily avoided from something as simple as a vaccine or a mask.

Then drop the speed limit to 30. It'll save one life. That's a fact.

Better yet - ban driving after dark. There is a real death toll that can be avoided.

What in the literal freedom loving America frick are you threatening me with? We either comply or Gov’t officials sink the economy.

The irony is, I’ve already gotten 1 shot and plan to get a 2nd. However, I am in NO frickING WAY threatening anyone else to take it or not take it. This is fricking America and I believe A LOT of y’all have forgotten what freedom is. Just because “Dr.” Fauci and other Gov’t officials tell me to do someone does NOT mean I have to comply. And if you force me/others to do it outside of our own free will… well buddy… remember that all tyrannical gov’ts fall.

So if we the vaccine works then why are we being required to wear mask while vaccinated?

Some say you can still spread it while vaccinated so if that’s true then mask make sense. However, if we cannot then why do I need to still wear a mask? Which one is it? The problem I have with all of this isn’t covid itself, it’s with all the back and forth.

If the mask prevent it from spreading then why can’t non vaccinated people just enter place with a mask and unvaccinated people enter without one? Seems like a simple fix. Either the mask work or they don’t.

Because wearing a mask is really as inconvenient as forcing everyone to drive under 30 or keep them from drinking after dark. Right…

And I’m pretty sure Covid has killed much more in a year than driving accidents, but keep with the stupid comparisons.

It's easy. He's telling you that he shouldn't have to "sacrifice" - because it's just common sense that you should instead. Because he's right and you are wrong.

Straight up. That's all it is.

The mask don’t work though man. There’s no point. My job is making us wear one even with the vaccinations. Mask arguments are invalid now.

I find the mask unbelievably problematic. But since it's no big deal - as you say - I reckon it's no big deal that I don't comply. With that, or any of your other rules.

Oh Hell - let's not kid each other - it's only "no big deal" as long as I do what you say. When I don't - this suddenly turns into a very, very big deal indeed.

This "no big deal" thing is a lie. It's an extremely big deal to you. And thus, to me.

This is said over and over again. It boggles my mind. These same people will bitch when events, sporting and otherwise, are not at full capacity.

and for people saying "this is no worse than the flu". Here are some actual number......

quote:

CDC estimates that the burden of illness during the 2018–2019 season included an estimated 35.5 million people getting sick with influenza, 16.5 million people going to a health care provider for their illness, 490,600 hospitalizations, and 34,200 deaths from influenza (Table 1).

LINK

as opposed to covid.........

quote:

Coronavirus Cases:
35,907,196

Deaths:
629,951

LINK

The comparison of covid being no worse than the flu is absurd.

It’s called quit being a baby, you want to live in a society then it’s not all about you.

In fact, you should want the vaccine and do everything you can to make this virus goes away, or else economic shutdowns are going to happen, it’s just a reality. Believe it or not, sick and dead people don’t boost the economy.

There’s a reason the NFL is forcing this, it’s not cause they care about vaccines, it’s all about keeping the machine going. Somehow I doubt any of you are going to boycott the NFL.
