This may sound homer but I know I have a lot more faith in Sumlin than I would previous leadership in the same situation, regardless of what happens with Manziel. I think if he doesn't play a down this season we can still make a bowl game and keep some of the momentum going into next year with a ton of young talent still on the roster.

That being said, it's looking more and more like this was a hit piece on the part of somebody. No evidence, lying sources and remarkably coincidental timing with regards to the release of information.

This is freaking crazy. Fellow Aggies, calm down guys. There is nothing to see here. Manziel has always been too good of a guy to say no to anybody. Also, being that he is an AG, I suspect he found it even harder to say no to a fella in uniform.
The real story here is that the NCAA will obviously do anything to protect their cash cows (gumps & sips). The two most powerful programs in all of college sports have joined up with the governing body to wreck us.
