Cam's situation had to do with getting money to play for a school. This is about a player being coerced into getting paid to make money off of their own signature. While both are violations they are viewed very differently in the public eye and make no mistake that has a bearing.

You couldn't be more wrong. The public wants to see Manziel crash and burn.

Think the schools lawyers will meet with the NCAA lawyers before the week of the first game and ask if there is any reason to sit JFF.
If NCAA lawyers say no he plays.
If they say yes he will sit.

As noted previously, the last thing the Manziel family should want to do is file a lawsuit. That means the NCAA can file pages & pages of Discovery requests as well as take depositions of any & all parties that mite be involved. Can you imagine how well JM himself would hold up under the aggressive attacks by the NCAA's lawyers? The PA? He would crack in record time. The school certainly does not want anything to do with any lawsuit, as once that door is opened, through Discovery & depositions, a whole new mess mite come up.

If Manziel had been doing this to feed his family, I could sympathize.

Manziels car has stock rims. Anonymous broker said Manziel wanted money for rim.

With Johnny's bodyguard testifying to NCAA that Johnny signed stuff but no money discussed or involved, this is going to start fading out soon.

Joe Schad's unnamed sources are making ESPN look like the Enquirer, but that would be an insult to the Enquirer.

Yep his job was to be with Manziel at all times. These anonymous "brokers" Schad seems to keep claiming to talk to sure haven't talked to the NCAA.

No hostile winesses, no paper, investigation over, Time for Heisman Winner to play ball!
