Its a big deal for him but since nobody with the university is tied to the wrongdoing its not going to blow back on A&M.
It'll hurt the program, dumbass, which is a part of the university. One down year in the SEC can be a nail in the coffin.

You sort of answered your own question. Most schools do a pretty good job of keeping their star athletes...even returning Heisman winners...under control. Manziel is ultimately responsible for his own actions, but A&M and Sumlin have done a piss poor job of supervising him. They've shown that they are way, way out of their league when it comes to dealing with a celebrity athlete on their roster.
The first two things I listed mean dick. A college kid partied.
Who cares?
Taking moneyfor signing autographs? I seriously doubt the vast majority of people give a shite and will think ill of the school b/c of it.
and LOL at saying A&M has shown they can't handle shite when a school like LSU is about to let Jeremy Hill back on the team after sucker punching a dude in the back of the head.
Gee, whats actually worse? Selling an autograph and getting suspended or assaulting somebody and getting to stay on the team?

Saban would suspend his arse immediately. Or maybe he wouldn't. I have no idea how Saban would react if he had a good QB.
Good point. We also don't know what Sumlin would do if he had a leader at QB. Or a championship caliber player at the position.

To be fair, I think he was referring to A&M's image in terms of the reputation of the University.
If A&M AD didn't commit any wrongdoing, then any collateral damage would be limited

a down year in football will not destroy the rep of a university.
come on now.

Nice job of fuk'in up with the facts Super Ag. Yeah JFF is a rascist hanging out with Drake and all.
The precident in this has already been set. No paper trail no consequences.
JFF is practicing right now. After the first game this becomes a page 10 story.

Manziel plead guilty to misdemeanor assault last month. Forget about that?

aTm fans have an absolute cult like obsession with Manziel. He literally can do no wrong in their eyes. I work with a ton of Aggies and one of my coworker was gushing like a schoolgirl about how "Johnny is so good at golf."
The aTm alums gave me relentless grief about the Honey Budger. Right now I'm just remaining quiet with a shite eating grin on my face.
Oh and 24-19

Wrong, there are rumors but yet to be substantiated.

I wonder if Sumlin has asked Manziel at this point: "any truth to all this?"
Or would he rather not know the answer to that?
