you are wrong about the consent crap. That is only as far as admissibility as evidence in a court of law to a confession to a crime. Many stores have security cameras that are admissible as evidence, as do police in that state. If you think you can commit a crime and get away with it simply because someone caught you on video doing it, you are an idiot.

At this point, the school is between a rock and a hard place. If they sit him, they face a suit from the family, and if they play him, they face an NCAA investigation. What would you do?

What are they going to sue the school for? It's not illegal for a coach to sit a player for whatever reason, much less the crap the school has had to endure because of JF. I don't see how a lawsuit on the Manziel's part for sitting him is even legit.

The kid may want to rethink his decision to take classes on campus this semester.

He said he wouldn't do it AGAIN because it led to too many questions. NCAA should be very interested in that statement on video from JFF himself

He definitely did it - proof or not, he did it. I also think the Manziel's will be buying that tape to protect their son. Now the only question is what is Sumlin going to do about it?

you should know that Manziel has threatened transfer to another school if Sumlin sits him. It is also going around Tyler that Daddy plans to sue the school if necessary as well.

Why would this be the word in Tyler when they don't live there anymore?

I haven't heard anything of the sort.

I trust he isn't lying. The NCAA is not even close to court of law and follows its own set of rules. Lawyers are involved to keep them from getting evidence and argue but traditional rules of evidence are not applicable. I will post all this later

Nope. Not how it works. Seriously

It's what Penn State tried (and failed) to do. Hell, A&M got the courts to reduce NCAA sanctions during the FedEx bit in the late 80s.

History shows the NCAA is not immune from court interference.

But in Bountygate they had video of coach Williams telling players to "kill" the other guys and such in teem meetings,

Video of JFF saying that he'd deny signing for the broker. Video of JFF at least implying that he has received money for signing before. (Video alleged)

Yeah I have read the article but do they have possession of said tapes? All I saw was espn has "seen" the tapes. without them having there hands on the tapes do you believe simply reporting they saw them is enough for anything to come of this?
