All this proves is that A&M doesn't believe the NCAA has a decent case.

Manziel is almost certainly guilty of something, either accepting money or approving the offer of money for signatures his friend gave out. You will get much more respect once you admit stuff like this.

Not in the way you like to imagine.

If you believe Sumlin is squeaky clean you are naïve. The guy is ambitious, very smart and knows what it takes to win. Nobody with those traits is dotting every I.

I thought Meyer was squeaky clean when he came to UF. Boy was I wrong. He really talked the talk though.

That being said, this will all amount to nothing. When it does, A&M fans will go into overdrive ala Auburn 2010 and piss off the rant to such a level that they literally wont be able to sleep at night knowing that Manziel pisses them off so much and we don't care.

Someone needs to step away from the interwebz for a few and maybe glimpse into a sliver of reality. No one, and I mean no one really gives that much of a shite about Manziel or the Ags, or for their own favorite team that much......dude, really. Real life awaits.

I think some of us are being honest. I wouldn't trade him for AJ. Or Aaron Murray

Saban wouldnt have let the off the field issues get as far as they have...

And I wasnt saying that every SEC team would want him starting. Just baffles me that because of off the field stuff we are trying to be convinced we dont want our Heisman winner, and hands down the most exciting kid in college football to watch, on the field.

Kid is special. Just want one more season then he can declare.

As long as he continues to win games I dont really care what he does off the field as long as it isnt anything major.

I don't really agree with you, but whatever. Even if he is an Aggie we cheat all the time. Let's forget about the fact that our Honor Code says we don't because there is a lot of evidence to the contrary. Some Honor Code isn't going to stop that if it helps us win.

Am I saying he is cheating like Sherrill? No.

I agree with this.

Have you not been on these boards for the past month? Take a couple of hours and just browse through the boards over the last month or so. It is full of JFF threads (most not started by Aggies)

I think if he hadn't won the Heisman, you wouldn't have a third of these troubles. He was not ready for this attention.

Maybe as a sophomore, or a junior. Lesson learned: the Heisman was not awarded to a freshman, ever. And not many to sophomores--Ingram was one of the few.

Sounds like his family is dysfunctional as frick, which also contributes.

Johnny said f it, took down his tent and built a 10,000 sqft home in the collective SEC psyche.

And most of them are started to bait aggies. No one outside of Aggies really gives a shite about Aggies.

I'm sorry. It's the truth.

All of this sounds like conjecture and hearsay to me. So what Johnny signed a bunch of shite. I seriously doubt there is any evidence-paper trail that shows Johnny agreed to take money. The game between Bama and Texas A&M is way to big for the NCAA to get in the way. The NCAA is a business and without Johnny this game will not get as many National viewers.
