He failed ad OM because he was at OM. He didn't fail at USC, there are still many there that wish he would have stayed and feel it was a big mistake letting him go. But I understand why you tried to loop the two together...lol.

I wish Pittman well, but Arky's ceiling is probably middle of the pack SECW, 9 out of 10 years.

Having LSU, Bama, AU in the same division is just too much of a mountain.

You must have missed the part where we were a top 10, 10+ win team two years in a row the last time we had a decent coach. Either that or you don't know what the term ceiling means. Middle of the pack might be our average, but it's most certainly not the ceiling under capable leadership.

Okay, maybe I should have said 8 out of 10 years.

Pittman was a great hire. Anyone who questioned that hire is a moron and doesn’t know shite about college football. The West got much more competitive since November.

This is pushing it. He's never been a head coach. At best he's a solid hire in that he seems well respected and seems to be making good staff hires. We don't know right now how he will do.

It has potential which is better than what we had going on last year.

Pittman should get some time as well, all he needs to do is get us back looking improved off all time program lows.

All of the above have had, and will have, their down cycles.
Unfortunately, we have been stuck in one since Petrino rode that bike.
Hopefully we are on the upswing.

Its going to be crazy looking not seeing power football run at Arkansas next year!

Rakeem Boyd announced he's returning for his senior year immediately after Briles was announced as OC

We sure as hell will have some form of power run game with him.

I think people will be pretty surprised at the talent we currently have on the team. Morris and his OC were lost but they left some good players, Pittman needs to address the Oline but have have some solid talent at skill positions.

People who know football knew Sam was a good hire

People who know football knew two years ago that Chaggy was a terrible hire

All except Julie Cromer. I hope Ark. learned their lesson in not putting a female in a position high enough to make such a decision in the future.

I do think Auburn is probably the program that loses the most ground with Arkansas and Ole Miss coming up.

Yurachek has put the anti Jeff Long crowd back in their place, lesson learned.
