Was listening to a podcast right after OM beat Arkansas. It was mentioned that Football was having a hard time getting NIL money. Basketball and Baseball are flush with it compared to other SEC schools, but football is really trailing.

I thought Arkansas had some major money, do they just not care about football in Arkansas. If true, it is really sad they still can't win a championship in Baseball.

NIL money tied to expectations. If power donors aren’t behind a HC they aren’t going to participate as much.

Hearing that A&M is having big donor pushback and with holding money related to NIL. Actually know some details and some of the donors pushing back for Ags.

Hogs probably have something similar. If they don’t think Pittman is the guy, they can withhold.

I thought their collective would be for all sports and not individual funds for each sport.

Probably is, but that doesn't stop donors from saying what they want their money to be used for. If I was donating a million to a NIL fund, I would at least want a say in what sport my money is going towards.

I would think between Jerry Jones, Walmart and Tyson there would be NIL money flowing.

what is said in the OP is true. Our Nil is very high rated but not directed as much at Football.

Justin Moore is doing a Nil concert with all of the coaches in attendance. 3grand for a table of 4 with the proceeds going to Arkansas1Nil.

Kinda cool... But not enough for sure. LINK

will bring in around 170,000.00 Enough for one Olineman?

With Jerry Jones demanding the A&M/Ark game be played in his stadium every other year you'd think he'd give more back to the school for NIL.

It will likely come down to having a salary cap type maximum per team. It may work…

Here is the thing though.

The old Arkansas boosters are dying out. The "New" Arkansas boosters have more money than you can shake a stick at. Which they prefer to spend donating to civic improvement, local schools, and so on.

So we don't have the best football team money can buy, but NW Arkansas is a great place to live. I guess... congratulations to folks who live in other places that kind of suck but have good football teams?

Hahaha what a cope. You know anyone could move to NWA and still root for a good football team right? You don't have to live in the town of your alma mater/ college you root for

Doubt seriously that players are out there beating the bushes for sponsored NIL money. Has to be the boosters who are holding back.

Just like every other gag fan, this is just a load of bs. we've been hearing this same song and dance with gag for years.

"oh our big money donors are pissed"

oh yeah? yet they all still slob on jimbos knob every chance because it's a culture thing. it's all about who's who

I know but that is the thing. Our big money boosters are more into donating to the community. I know that sounds bizarre to a lot of folks on here but there you have it. Sorry if that offends you but it is what it is.

I was under the impression that Ark gave every scholarship football player $47.5k/yr. Maybe I’m wrong and that’s averaged over every player…IDK.

Cam is awesome. We’re flying up Sat morning for the game, and I hope my son gets to hang with Cam for a bit over the weekend.

The Jerry world game is coming to an end after 2024. Going to be home and home.

Our admin keeps making coaching hires as if they don't give AF about football. Why should we contribute to a hopeless situation.

We're a baseball and basketball school, I guess.

Let me make sure I understand exactly what you are saying... No big donors are pissed and the checkbooks are still out 100% supporting Jimbo. Seems to be what you are saying.

Good lawd.
