Yeah, you really dominated us this year at home by holding the ball for a last second field goal.

I’m sure this happens all the time (and has for many years). Always stuck me as extremely shortsighted in most cases. These boosters think they’re Bob Kraft when really they’re closer to Dan Snyder.

The Tyson family is worth $2.5 billion.

Johnelle Hunt is worth $4.8 billion.

Stephens family is worth $3.9 billion.

To be fair, that is closer to Dan Snyder money than Bob Kraft.

I would think between Jerry Jones, Walmart and Tyson there would be NIL money flowing.

Look what happened to Texas A&M when they were reeling in top recruits.

Arkansas boosters aren't going to drop millions like the aggies especially with an OL coach with no head coaching experience.

I believe they have a wait and see approach. They will give you what you need at first and if you're successful then they will help out more.

They have been burned too many times by the administration that I'd imagine will get frustrated being asked about money for only to be wasted after another firing.

That is probably why Arkansas hired an OL coach because they are tired of seeing money they made go to waste.

So which one of them told you this personally?

I’m sure you are in the loop. Who told you that?

You know it all, tell us who let you in on this.

We have the richest family in America, most of whom have their primary residence 25 miles north of campus.

But they are uber rich, which means they truly don't give a shite about something as banal as college sports. They float above it, never mention it, and spend their money on other things like starting private colleges, funding art museums, and transforming Arkansas into a world-class mountain biking destination, and getting full National Park designation for the Buffalo River area.

The second generation guys attended Arkansas. Alice didn't. All of the third generation attended small liberal arts schools out of state.

I would expect the second and third generations of Jerry Jones money to act the same.

But how the heck did other football programs come up with all that money? Must it be the State isn't as populated as others and have rich football traditional that their fans willing to pitch in at all costs?

Firstly, there are plenty of other lower tier benefactors for Arkansas athletics. Tysons, Hunts, and other minor Billionaires, as well as the run of the mill multi millionaires that every program has. We have those in spades.

NIL coincided with Pittman, who followed Chad Morris.

I think it is clear that Pittman isn't popular with donors. After the run we have had, a lot of donors are in wait and see mode. Basketball and baseball have no problems with $$.

I'm not sure football does. This thread is based on what someone allegedly heard on a freaking podcast.

Talent isn't really our problem at the moment.

If the Waltons really cared about sports especially football, we would have seen it especially in the recruiting classes but they don't care which is a shame.

However Johnelle Hunt is a huge fan of basketball and baseball.

You can see it in the recruiting classes of both sports.

Waltons do not donate to any sports.

They're internationals. They have residences all over the globe and travel accordingly.

I don't recall a single living Walton ever donating to Arkansas sports. They'll show up randomly at a tailgate, but they're real money. They don't care about SEC football anymore than Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos.
