Looks awesome! Anyone know when they're going to start using it? Will it be ready for summer practice?

I bet they use the turf for summer practice. Probably wait until Fall practice to use the grass surface so all the sod can have time to mesh.

Which is why I would think they would let it grown in some before 100 football players with cleats rip it apart. But who knows, this isn't a high school football field so they should have a big enough crew to take care of it properly and they'll be on that sum bitch soon.

That balcony on the HPER will be prime real estate for watching practice come 2 a days. Hope they don't kick people off of there.

There's a condo that overlooks the Alabama practice fields. Anyone that purchased a unit on the third floor or above had to sign a release because they were privy to Alabama practices.

I've never seen anyone get on that balcony that you can see. However, the 2nd and 3rd floor windows with have a ton of people watching on. I watched the whole thing get built from the ground up over the last semester.

I find it hilarious that Arkansas has literally built a parking garage with practice fields on the roof in the span of time it has taken Okie light to erect the steel frame for it's IPF.

I find it funny that our athletic projects fly during construction, but the 6-7 academic/housing projects seem to putter on for two years. I mean that Pi Phi Gate is taking forever and a day. Its a tiny job compared to that parking/practice field project.
