I'm assuming that when those deals were made they didn't expect great HCs like Huge Freeze and Luke Fickell to be at those schools.
It'll be interesting to see what happens to Liberty once Freeze moves on. They are likely going to dominate the rotting corpse of CUSA purely by outspending their opponents but keeping up w/other schools that spend at that level w/be hard to do.

I don't know the Liberty game was Sam's Toledo. I was at the game and the so called top rated offense looked awful going scoreless until the Cam Little FG going into halftime 21-3. Then the defense scores a safety LOL 21-5 going into the fourth.
This game like many games this year just shows how unprepared and unmotivated his teams are. Missouri State did it first, had to win it in the fourth. They played scared against Bama were up 28-0 until the few minutes before the half 28-7. Arkansas gets it within 23-28 but the defense collapsed as Bama scores three more TDs in the fourth quarter. Then it happened again against Liberty, the offense is too slow for adjustments and they put a bad defense behind the eight ball.
Sam Pittman got exposed this year but if you think about he is what we should have known all along.
He talks like an OL coach. He acts like an OL coach and he coaches like an OL coach. Better than Chad but still BAD.

They can probably beat Auburn or Vandy but I don't see them beating any other SEC teams with decent coaching.

Auburn you guys should really higher Hugh Freeze for your next head coach. He is the best coach out there available by far.

They've only been a full FBS team since 2019, so this isn't really saying much. That school has lots of money and isn't afraid to use it for athletics.
