"Arkansas, ranked No. 10, leads all SEC programs and is the only league program ranked in the top 30 of the most recent standings. The standings released on Thursday included Directors’ Cup points allocated in men’s and women’s cross country, women’s field hockey, men’s and women’s soccer and men’s and women’s water polo. The Razorbacks have a total of 194 points in the second set of fall standings."

Flagship is back baby. We are now a Track/Field Hockey/Soccer/Water Polo school.

sports completed so far:

womens cross country
mens cross country
womens field hockey
womens soccer
mens soccer
mens water polo

To my knowledge, the SEC doesn't compete in field hockey or water polo, and only two SEC schools compete in mens soccer.

Congrats on the nice cross country and womens soccer seasons?

Arkansas is also behind powerhouse GEORGETOWN

Real prestigious title you're chasing there.

Congrats on the stellar Cross Country season

I’m not sure what the plural of Francis would be, but I know there are some Francisisisisises who need to lighten up.

Is football weighted to be worth more?

I just know that the Directors cup is kind of bunk because it counts a ton of minor sports that only certain schools actually play.

Just going off last years.........yes.

Men's bball made the final four. Women's made the tourney.

Softball made the tourney and baseball made the world series.

Gymnastics made the tourney.

Golf made the finals.......

Yet Auburn finished behind several other SEC schools, including bama.............and bama pretty much sucks at most things not involving football and gymnastics.

Incorrect. All of the sports are weighted equally even sports where there aren't a lot of schools participating (which is where some of the criticism comes from).

For example you tout Auburn's well rounded programs and criticize Alabama as football and gymnastics only and wonder why Alabama was ahead of Auburn last year. However, here are where each team won more points than the other in the counted sports for the director's cup last year:

Alabama (10)
Football
Softball
Gymnastics
W. T&F
M T&F
W. Indoor T&F
M. Indoor T&F
W. Tennis
M. Tennis
M. Swimming

Auburn (7)
Baseball
W. Basketball
M. Basketball
W. Golf
M. Golf
W. Swimming
W. Soccer

That is why Alabama finished ahead of Auburn.

Even more impressive, because Arkansas doesn't either. We accomplished this on the backs of cross country and women's soccer.
