Doesn't Mullen hate recruiting?

Yes, but Arkansas doesn't recruit anyway. Say what you want about Mullen but he can put together an offense. He or Sumrall would be a good hire for them.

You could do a lot worse.

No kidding. Just keep Petrino if Mullen is the other option.

They could do way, way worse than Mullen.

I prefer they go back to Chad Morris.

Is James Franklin safe at Penn State? Would Penn State hire Mullen?

Is there that much difference between the two?

Head coaches rarely are the lead recruiter, especially in this semi pro era.

An article came out not too long ago that Sumrall name is popping up for the PSU job if Franklin is no longer the HC there.

That would be a good hire. Too bad, I was kind of hoping they’d give the keys back to Petrino and continue to be a free win each November.

That would be an okay hire. Not a home run flashy hire that everyone wants, but Mullen is a good coach and he'll get the program back into a respectable place.

Mullen’s UNLV team is going undefeated this year. He will be a hot name.

I would be disappointed if so. That’s a good hire for them.

With his sights set on Fayetteville, I wouldn't be shocked if he gets upset by Air Force this weekend and/or loses to Boise after that.

Dan Mullen will probably accept several job offers this season.

Barry Odom would be a great fit given their recent hires.

Odom would be a great fit if Petrino stays on as OC

Keeping Petrino

Huge mistake if they do. Arkansas is a total rebuilding job. Why would you hire a man 64 years old to completely rebuild your program?

LSU royally screwed up hiring 62 year old Brian Kelly. This is a younger man’s job now with year round recruiting, NIL, etc etc. Saban was a 1 in 1 billion coach and isn’t going to be replicated by these old has beens.

Mullen will portal decently and scheme up good offenses. Will be similar to his MSU run, maybe better depending on how well of a 1-2 year class he can pull.

Had unprecedented success at an equal or slightly worse job. This would be a really good hire.
