No, their location fricking sucks for talent.

It doesn't suck it just doesn't attract players who want to be near a major city.

Ever since Petrinos motorcycle accident, Arkansas football has been a dumpster fire

our track and basketball programs have already shown this to be true

False equivalence.

-Very, very few schools give a damn about T&F.

-It only takes 1 dynamic player or coach to take a basketball team to the Final 4, so it's a much easier fix. Overhauling an entire Football program is another animal entirely

Location is a stretch. HS talent in NW Arkansas doesn't compare to their division counterparts. I will say that Fayetteville is an absolutely beautiful place if that's what you are referring to.

I like Fayetteville, but the state of Arkansas doesn't put out enough high level talent for Arkansas to be considered a sleeping giant.

I agree. All we need to do is hire a good Arkansas man like Gus to take us to that next level. I hope we steal him from the barn.

So by next level we talking 4-8 or 5-7ish?

I’m joking. I hope y’all get a really good coach who only seems to lose to LSU in nail biters.

I’ve never had anything against the piggies even though you played spoiler to LSU a few times.

Sleeping giant or dead giant? When you sleep you get back up, when you die you don’t get back up. Would you bet your life that Arkansas will awake to a top 3 West team over the next 10 years? I wouldn’t.

Objectively you can’t say Arkansas has a brighter future than A&M, Bama, LSU, or Auburn.

Lacks any recent success
Not a fertile recruiting state
Not a blue blood that can go get recruits out of state

More like sleeping beauty. But there are very few princes who’d accept/execute the challenge of kissing her awake.

Hasn't been anything to crow about since Richardson left. I'd put your baseball program at a higher level of success during the same time frame since Nolen left.

You might have Walmart money, which can buy great facilities, but you definitely don't have culture and location. Fayetteville is a bunch of hillbilly fricks living in the middle of nowhere.
