Charlie Strong. Perfect fit, Arky guy and can recruit top shelf. He wouldn’t have the issues that troubled him at TX.

Historically we've been able to recruit Texas well. Bert's mouth pissed off some Texas high school coaches, so lets hope that bridge can be un-burned.

Arkie would be better if Bert would drop 100lbs and go back to his old ways of looking like an athlete. I'm sure his wife would appreciate the weight loss as well and mitigation of the obesity induced erectile dysfunction.

The problem is you are in a conference where on any given year you play 3-4 teams that are “Awake Giants”. Sure you have resources, but most teams do. Sure you could make a good AD hire, but several teams already have. Hints your problem.

With all the social media and more informed high school recruits, they don't want to live in UNCLE-DADDY-VILLE to play football.
