Sam doing his job. Not sure if too late.

Drinkwitz was on the same path with DC when the defense couldn't stop the run. The new DC did a great job. Then the offense struggled last year and earlier this year, but the hiring of an OC was needed and slowly starting to gel and clicking by mid-season.

Briles is better than Enos but let’s not act like briles was awesome either.

Pittman just hired some bad apples. He’s getting things figured out.

Ever wonder how that conversation goes?

" I know it's a dumpster fire, but I'm blaming you."

"Thank you for trying, but damn, 3 points?"

You think we’d be 2-6 with a top 20 offense paired with our much improved defense? There’s a better chance that we’d be 6-2, if he just hadn’t tried to go back to the exact same type of thing that got Bielema fired here. We aren’t going to be a 12 personnel Georgia replica offense in today’s SEC no matter how much they convince themselves it will work.

MSU was on a bye the week before. That might have had a huge effect, but the letdown Arkansas had the week before might have hurt the team moral.

Idk how he got hired to a SEC OC role to begin with. What about his previous offenses said this would be a good idea?

I always thought the guy was a good OC/QB coach. His offense set multiple Alabama passing and offensive records. Many credited him with Tua’s development. Maybe it was a one-year fluke.

It’s not a great look for Pittman but I appreciate the desperation.

Not adapting his play calling to the team we have was his downfall
Except it's the exact opposite that's true. He's a pro-set, guy. We heard all spring about KJ was adapting to going under center.
But he realized the softies he had up front couldn't do it, so he stayed with the shotgun/read option that Briles ran.
I just don't think anyone realized just how soft that line was actually going to be.
Enos is getting fired and never got to run his offense.

If Cody Kennedy is right behind him something is amiss.

Hoping that Sam told Enos Kennedy needed to go and Enos questioned that earning his pink slip.

Ultimately Enos never got a fair shot because his offensive line was a dumpster fire. That’s 1000% Pittman’s fault and that’s why he can’t save himself.
