If he didn't chase points the entire game Arkansas would've been up 3 instead of 1

You’re not wrong. The conservative play calling before giving back the ball as well. And the fact Arkansas could not stop the offense from marching down the field on the last drive.

In their last series, the Arky RB lost like 5 yards trying to bounce it outside, after that they went conservative.

After they missed that PAT they went for 2 after every TD they got.

They are in the honeymoon phase with a coach that appears to have improved their team. They aren't going to blame him. These are the types of mistakes fans excuse while they have hope and confidence in their new coach like Arky and the kind that infuriate fans who have lived with the mistakes for 8 seasons like Aubie.

You can find things to blame in every single game. Those are things we did. Auburn can say the same thing as well about things they did.

What we didn’t do is frick up an easy call like the refs did who actually have the luxury to request a redo after watching video of the play.

They would have been up 3, the first PAT was a bad snap/bad hold. Which would have sent that game to OT.

Meh.

I loved the Pittman hire and still do, but his inexperience showed last night and cost us that game.

There was no reason to chase points the way he did. Also no reason to stay so conservative on play calling on our last possession, especially after our passing game had so much success against the Auburn defense on the last drive.

Had he simply kicked the PATs the outcome could have been different. But thats what you are going to get when you sign a first-time head coach.

You have just begun to live with Chad Morris.

He did a ton of dipshit things during that game, but Arkansas fans are on the “muh fumble” train

It was his 3rd game as a head coach

The point chasing didn't bother me. Of all the possibilities, most would favor his decision to go for 2, imo. It just didn't work out that time.

Lots of other things bothered me more, like bringing in a true freshman at QB, inside redzone, for his first time in an Arkansas uniform.

Pittman was coaching 3rd and 4th stringers all over the field. We had a walk on DB starting.

Aubie should feel very bad that game was close. Especially when they were up 17-0z

Are there things Arkansas could have done not to end up in that situation? Yes. That doesn’t hide the fact that despite those things, Arkansas had the game won...it was just taken from them.

I hate the outcome. I’m just trying to be positive in the fact that nobody in the country thought we could even compete this season. Blaming Sam? A lot of you outside the state don’t understand what he has done. Arkansas football is everything. He’s United a program with the entire state. We will be fine going forward because of what he’s done in a short time. Honeymoon doesn’t have shite to do with it. We have a coach who understands the program/state.

I said the exact same thing going for two when it was 17-12.

You need a coach that understands how to win football games, though.
