So you must have had Auburn playing and winning the national title in 2010, correct? You knew without a doubt that LSU would be playing for the title after 2 losses, and a season ending loss to a low ranked Arkansas team, correct? I cannot believe 1 great regular season in the SEC has you thinking you will never lose another conference game to anyone but Alabama. Your arrogance is comical.

My arrogance? haha from an arkansas that has never won a damn thing in this conference and you flood this board everyday with your shite. Y'all are absolutely intolerable.

At some point a fan base has to come to grips with reality. I do not debate Alabama fans on winning championships because they have shown that they walk the walk, and they kicked our asses last year.

But a program like Arkanass with all of the mind-numbing stats over the last 20, 30, 40 years, is like listening to every team in the preseason who thinks that this is THEIR YEAR. You gotta prove it first Hog fans.

Between SCe, GA and Fla, there will be a maximum of 2-3 plays either way that decides that division. Sure, LSU can come in and just dominate again, but Bama won't. The SEC will be a much closer race this season.

Sounds like the SEC West in the late 90s, doesn't it. It was complete shite too.

Alabama is entirely capable of dominating every opponent once again. That's what recruiting like it's oxygen does for you. That being said, the leadership has to come through or it's 2010 all over again. We can win 10 games on talent alone, but injury luck, breaks, and leadership decides how good they will be.

Again, you might be right, but how many great resumes come across the desk every day.

When Arky is defense heavy and they gut-out big games then people will seriously consider them as NC contenders.

Please provide me the link where a single Arkansas fan has posted that we are going to win the title. And it can't be a sarcastic flame. Will one Arkansas fan come forward and say that we are without a doubt going to dominate the SEC and win it all? It must be a crime to be optimistic.

Im honestly surprised you are still spewing your bullshite after you looked like a dumb arse in the Petrino threads.

quote:

No, please explain. This should be awesome to hear. The fact is none of you are lawyers. None of you are EO reps. None of you have any knowledge whatsoever in the legality of the hiring process at the UofA. Please stop talking and showing how ignorant you are. You know that blue is blue and water is wet. That's about the extent of your knowledge. I know you probably have a great online dating profile, but honestly you have no clue what the frick you are talking about.

Umm this is getting really stupid. I'd put my life on it that he is going nowhere. It's really not even in question. The only person deciding his fate is Bobby himself. I don't know what's going on in his head so I guess that is what you're getting at. It's a fact that he won't be fired though.

lol I'm in tears over message board banter? We have a promising season and petrino will get probably a much needed vacation from coaching. Well rested for the upcoming season. I couldn't be more stoked!

I have to go here to get my info because no national media outlet is even giving this a thought. I've seen a total of 5 minute airtime in over watching several hours of ESPN and CBS.

He had to be punished for lying and the dust will settle. He's not going anywhere though and that's for sure.

Most of the "optomists" I know are in denial.

Seriously, can you even imagine walking into Tuscaloosa and beating Alabama with a great team.

And that was a year that didn't turn out well for us!

LOL @ Arky football BUT, I accept their argument about their BCSNC chances for 2012 before BMFP got canned.

I refuse to ridicule them and call them delusional.

I don't believe that they would win it all even with BMFP, but, they are right in believing that they had a shot.

I don't know. They might have a slim chance of beating them. Nevermind they don't stand a chance against LSU. I agree with you.

Usually when these butthurt threads make it this many pages the butthurt weakens a little bit. I'm impressed by this one. you guys haven't even slowed down. With petrino we were a contender and without him we are not. It is as simple as that.

Lots of talk for a team who has never in their 100+ year history won in Fayetteville.

there are two brothers, one is 15 the other is 16 but half way to 17...they are about 16 months apart in age...Arkansas, the younger brother has gone through puberty and is beginning to flex his newly found muscles a bit around the house....LSU, the 16.5 yr old son has long since gotten bowed up and has won several awards for the family and is rightfully proud of himself...well one day, the two wrestle as they quite often do, and low and behold the 15 yr old pins his older brother, not once, but twice, even offering a 'mercy knee' to neck of the elder brother in the second rumble...sensing a change of power is in the air the elder brother works out much harder and gets his rematch and pins his younger brother once again about 2 months later...but the older brother has maxxed out and he's not sure when little brother is going to stop growing so he takes to constantly berating and belittling younger brother in attempts to maintain the pecking order...that's exactly the LSU fan base in the SEC RANT, you guys must keep telling ARK fans about how they should know their place and continue being the subordinate sibling...younger brother, you see has other plans, however, because he has tasted victory and quite liked it....we shall see how this story turns out

There has been one game played in Fayetteville (1992). Give me a fricking break. Here is an interesting stat for you. If LSU lost their game to Arkansas every year for 14 years, then the series would finally be even.
