Something about political pressure from the capital city. Also, the merchants and shite make a lot of money off of those games, and I think they also threatened to not support the team if the games in Little Rock were removed. They used to play like 3 games a season there like 20 years ago, but they took one of the games away. That alone pissed off the people in Little Rock.
They'll always play one SEC game and one OOC game in Little Rock every year.
Now, why they choose to always play the LSU game in Little Rock? That's a good question.

This makes no sense whatsoever. How does it keep the money in state? If we schedule an out of state team, they bring their fans and out of state money to the state....Why is it important to move money from 5000 ASU fans to other parts of the state?

I don't get why some of ya'll get so worked up about some of the games being played in LR. I mean I don't mind them moving them all to Fville if we are being held back by playing games in LR, but if we can keep a game or two there I'd like to. It's a fun tradition IMO.

UCA Bears have an appointment in Oxford next year for the opening game of the season. Maybe they can line that one up for LR sometime. ...a double "homer" for Hootie (if he survives this season) and the Bears.

Those idiots at ark state missed a HUGE opportunity when they settled on that ridiculous red wolves mascot. They should have called themselves the Red Foxxes, and their cheer should be "YOU BIG DUMMIES!"
