Watching sec rewind and they had the 98 game on and it made me think which fumble was bigger Reggie Fish or Clint stoerner?

Probably Fish in the grand scheme of things. We still had to win a few games and a rematch with Tennessee in ‘98 which wasn’t a gimme.

The Fish play hurt me worse,we had Florida on the ropes and meyer had a deer in the headlights look on his face.

We had that game, but that's life as a hog fan.

The stoerner fumble was bad,but our defense shouldn't have let them drive the field to win.

Hell,they both suck balls.

Without the stoernover Arkansas is nearly a lock to win that game.

The Fish snafu killed great momentum but the Harvin TD was the real killer.

Arkansas can't play a big football game without giving up a long TD and fricking up on special teams.

It is probably first place in a long line of baffling turnovers for us.

I can still see our RB, untouched, going into the end zone with no Alabama defenders within yards of him... only to drop the ball and have it roll out for a touchback.

Had Stoerner not fumbled, the Vols would have been without the NC in 1998.

Fish by a mile. But, what most forget it would never have happened, IF we stopped Florida's fake punt on the previous series. And therein lies the difference between Urban Meyer and Houston Nutt.

Fish definitely hurt worse. That was our best chance for a SEC title and Fish wasn't mentally in it.

Stoerner hurt, but the OL stepped on his foot causing him to fall. We also had a bad deep snap on a punt that everybody forgets about.
