I kinda like that it gets cold in Fayettevile relative to other SEC schools. Feels like it gives us a bit of an advantage, especially against certain hot chocolate drinking teams...

It definitely gives us an advantage. LSU and OM were clearly affected by the weather in '14. I loved that Bielema kept us practicing outside all week in the sub freezing temps before LSU. That was huge because the weather that day didn't seem to bother us at all.

Five teams can claim weather advantage in November. Arkansas, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Kentucky and Missouri.

People forget Fayetteville is south of Nashville but has a higher elevation.

Fayetteville is unique because the jetstream is battling just above us which arttic air is either being pushed down from the Midwest or warm air up from Texas.

It's basically why Dallas and Fayetteville get a lot of the same temperature and weather, year round, with slight changes because of the elevation in Fayetteville compared to the entire rest of the state.

Hopefully they can afford a ramp for the visitor side. Damn near had a heart attack climbing stairs to the top. Later an usher mentioned they had a ramp on the other side of the stadium. Come on man!!!!

Love the photos.

I agree. At LSU, visitors have the choice of an escalator or a ramp...

quote:

East Upper Deck Access

Fans sitting in the east upper deck are reminded that they can get access to their seats either by using the escalators on the east side of the stadium through gate 9 or by entering gates 22 through 28 on the south side of the stadium and using the ramps to the upper deck.

LSU sports

I wish all upperdecks were like that.

That said, very nice expansion by the Hogs.

Looks good and I love how ya'll have that opening in the corner for the hill. It kind of looks like UGA's stadium.

I didn't even notice the glass enclosed stair cases and observation decks on the ends of both the east and west stands. That'll be a nice touch, if actually included.

The north addition will include new suites, loge boxes, club seats, and club areas.

Any Hog fan have a ballpark of how many suites and club seats will be added?

TIA

I kept trying to square that rendering in my mind, but it helps to have them side by side like that. The video board will be raised up, allowing for the colonnade to be taller than looks possible right now. The second video board is kind of ridiculous, IMO. Hope it turns out good.

yup but you gotta keep raising the bar. We had the first giant video board. I don't like that it will block a lot of the view of the Boston Mountains to the south.

I really enjoyed sitting in the Union overlooking the stadium and the mountains out towards where I grew up.
