JD Notae is the first to sign with the new Hunt-Family NIL Organization AAC

JB Hunt is a Fortune 500 company with revenues of 12.7 billion in 2020.

More news coming out around 11am CST. Expecting big news today, possibly Walmart and Tyson Foods joining the NIL game as well.

"AAC - Athlete Advocate Consortium. Founded by the Hunt kids and funded through them and other boosters around the state from what I was told.

They’ve been raising money for a while, and announced today. Essentially it’s an NIL organization that will financially benefit players while the players have community driven efforts rather than just advertisements or endorsement deals.

Not sure how much money exactly is available, but that’s what was the big deal from what I was told. Should see a lot of athletes making a lot of money from this. And it’s also cool that it’s community driven."

More about the AAC

"“NIL policy has given college athletes the option to enter the business world, but with great power comes great responsibility,” Bryan Hunt said in a statement. “AAC connects these college athletes with a local nonprofit, not only to give back to a cause they care about but to also bring awareness to all of the good these organizations are doing to help our communities.”

Financial details of Notae’s contract with AAC were not disclosed. An AAC spokesman was not immediately available to answer additional questions.

Notae has chosen to work with Samaritan Community Center, a Northwest Arkansas nonprofit providing food and other resources to families living in need.

“Growing up in a family that struggled to put dinner on the table from time to time, this issue is close to my heart,” Notae said. “I’ve always felt like if I was ever in the position to help another family who needs a little help making sure their kids get good meals I would. AAC has given me the opportunity to put the spotlight on Samaritan Community Center so all the members of our community can see the good work they do and learn about ways they can help.”"

This would make sense with our unexpected pull in the portal. We got some cream of the crop portal transfers against other NIL rich schools.

It sounds like Arkansas is trying to send a message that we aren't falling behind and will compete.

This explains why A&M is losing recruits. Walmart owner money > oil employee money

That's not happening. They'll give you a nice job picking up shopping carts in the parking lot but that's about it.
