6-6 would be the best case scenario, at least bowl eligible.

Sorry, fixed it.

Petrino's first year we were rebuilding from the ground up, similar to this year

I don’t believe it’s quite the the rebuild a lot of message boarders are making it out to be.

Don't see what you're seeing.

QB: Similar situation to 2008, Kelley is not Chad's type and Storey is likely not SEC caliber
RB: Similar to 2008
O-line: Will be worse than 2008
Defense: Will be worse than 2008, due to completely changing schemes again.

I'm fully prepped for 3-9.

6-6

Could switch Ole Miss and Missouri / maybe beat both for 7-5. We'll probably drop one though.

That'd be a D- coaching job given the schedule

So maybe just drawing a random no- name coach out of the hat will work better

Chad Morris is not a random no-name coach

What's funny is that if we had hired him directly from Clemson no one would be saying anything like this. Yet with a similar situation in Moorhead people are falling over themselves to slobber all over him.

In 2008, we really should have lost to Western Illinois and ULM. If not for beating LSU at the end of the season, people would have given Petrino a D- for 2008.

We are not going to be good, people.

You don't have to be good to go 6-6 with that schedule. Also, just because our last two coaches had terrible first years doesn't mean it always happens. There's more talent on this team, especially on defense, than was shown last year. Offense will be awful though, I agree.

Going well! The staff there is the best I've dealt with.

Petrino's first year we were rebuilding from the ground up, similar to this year, and he went 5-7. And we were asshairs away from losing to 2 of those games. Anyone claiming we will do 5-7 or better this year is essentially claiming Chad is the next Petrino. We will go 4-8 or 3-9.

You have to take into account that you got another rentawin due to the Michigan cancellation plus the Vandy draw from the east. Arkansas should have five wins based on those two facts alone, outside of that one more win is entirely possible in SEC play.

My official prediction is 4-8. Games with a ? could go either way, but I won't go out on a limb and predict a win.

Too many changes to go through.

The dude’s a nobody. Deal with it. He’s Gus 2.0 without any of the good players to bail him out.

And I agree. But that has nothing to do with the point I made. It happened because people either A)Had no clue who he was or B) Did know who he was and thinks he will fail miserably. Either way it says a lot and it happened multiple times. Same with the backlash on twitter and other message boards. People of Arkansas, because of their good nature, have given the guy his chance, but don’t deny most of them were pissed when he was hired

So what color is the sky in your world? I mean you obviously live somewhere beyond our ken.

Pissed? Really?

I live in Arkansas. I talk to Arkansas football fans every single day. So unless your definition of pissed means "well I'm willing to give him a shot" you just might be reaching deep into your backside for that one.

Yeah. Pissed. It says a lot that the most excited thing the fanbase could muster is “Well, I’ll give him a shot.” That’s what you wanna hear a fanbase excitingly say about a hire...
