Sweetest sounds in the world right now are LSU fans making excuses, rationalizing, justifying and bargaining.

Unusual for LSU fans. We are probably the most humble fanbase in the SEC when it comes to complimenting other teams o their success.

Arkansas returned 2 position players from a year ago. Lost its Friday night starter to TJ surgery before the season. Lost one of its most meaningful arms from the bullpen to TJ surgery. Lost another meaningful arm for 17 games during the regular season. Lost its best offensive weapon for the last half of the SEC schedule. Lost its starting 2B (one of the 2 returners) to a torn labrum. Lost its starting CF and leadoff hitter for a month. Lost its starting SS last night.

And you want to talk about an easier schedule?

Arkansas played the following in league play (RPI)...

#4 LSU
#6 South Carolina
#8 Vanderbilt
#12 Alabama
#15 Tennessee
#16 Auburn
#34 Texas A&M
#37 Georgia
#49 Mississippi State
#83 Ole Miss

Arkansas went 20-10 against Q1 competition this season. Only one team in the nation has more Q1 wins and that is Clemson with 21.

If anything, the above should prove DVH is this years SEC coach of the year.

Everybody has lost arms. LSU lost a starter and their two best relievers

You have to realize, Arky fans don't watch other teams. They think their team is the only one with injuries.

How do you quantify that with no CWS championships?
By how insecure our team makes the LSU fanbase.

Not the only difference.
