Ark AD cares more about a phone hitting the floor than Bama AD cares about a murder

Not even 24 hours later, the situation took another step as Arkansas’ Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics, Hunter Yurachek, released a statement of his own, offering an apology to the Kentucky Kernel and Weaver on behalf of Hall and Arkansas men’s basketball.
“I have visited with Riley Hall, a member of our men’s basketball support staff, and others who personally observed an interaction between Mr. Hall and a reporter following our game Friday night at the SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament. During our conversation, Mr. Hall expressed his regret that while leaving the floor his engagement inadvertently resulted in knocking down the reporter’s cell phone from his hand.
“While, based on our discussion, I do not believe there was malicious intent, I have addressed the issue with Mr. Hall and he agrees his actions were not appropriate or reflective of our program. On behalf of Mr. Hall and our program, I want to offer an apology to the reporter impacted by these actions.”

Ark AD investigates, asks questions, and substantively addresses a situation. Bama’s AD pretends his hands are tied, pretends he can’t ask questions, and potentially is concealing pertinent information that would warrant disciplinary conduct against his star player.

Oats is pushing for the number one overall seed tomorrow. That guy is a winner.

Some schools have class and some don’t. Some schools hold players and staff accountable for their actions and some dont.

Must be missing something. Did the police also say the person in question was also innocent?

Everyone involved in the murder was immediately suspended from the basketball team.

Looking forward to another thread of Bama fans excusing away what Miller did as long as he keeps winning.

Be happy with your AD and we’ll be happy with ours.

Has Bama outsourced player conduct review to the local PD?

Except the guy who delivered the gun upon request.

I would say any police investigation trumps a school one. Those responsible were charged and no longer at the university.

Why did you stop posting 12 threads per day about Miller? You were on a roll.
More so than your basketball team, anyway.

Miller received text asking for the gun.
Miller delivered the gun.

Sure. We all believe that story.

Miller was already at the location. The boyfriend and the girl pulled up behind him with their lights off.

The funny thing is not even Miller’s attorney, the police, or Bama is saying he didn’t read the text before delivering the gun. By failing to address that question and by dodging it, they’re admitting to it.
