O line depth is a problem at uga. They cannot afford any injuries to the o line this year.
people have literally been saying this about UGA for a decade.... it's as if richt enjoys being one play away from OL disaster.

Lsu people..No flame here at all just asking..Is Mett going to be good enough to win at the highest level.I know he has talent, but he has never taken a snap at this level..
He played in a game last year against a directional team.
We return everyone from the running back corp, basically our entire offensive line outside of one guy, so that should make his life easier. We went 13-1 running the football last year. I think he'll make us less one dimensional but will also make a few mistakes because he likes to take chances.
I'm excited to see how he performs but I'm very optimistic.

I know the spring game is just a spring game, but he was throwing against a pretty good defense... And his long ball was so beautiful it made the heavens cry.
Seriously, I wasn't impressed with his medium range passes, but he has touch that is just wonderful to watch. If he can develop the mid range stuff, which the problem could have been timing with receivers then he will be a solid QB.

Ummmm........Not that he's taken a lot, but he has taken a few. He played in 5 games last year.
Did you watch the SEC Championship game? If you did then you watched LSU beat the hell out of Georgia with absolutely pathetic QB play.
Watch #5 in the video below and then ask yourself if Mett can be good enough.

Our D-line will be a force this year. Lemon over and Ford on opposite ends is going to be sick.
O-line or MLB will be our biggest weakness, hoping both can make some strides in fall practice.

Sorry I was mistaken about Mett's playing time..I was not making this personal between Lsu and Georgia,I was asking an honest question.I am well aware you guys dominated us in the 2nd half of the championship game

No reason to be sorry. The point is that LSU won an SEC Championship with some of the worst QB play that I have ever seen. I don't think Mett can be any worse.

For UT:
Strengths: Our whole passing game (Bray, Hunter/Rogers/Patterson, Rivera), LBs (at least Johnson and Maggitt)
Weaknesses: THE WHOLE DAMN KICKING GAME
, and our running game/run blocking of the O-line is still a big question mark.

Strengths - Dline, Secondary, WRs, RB.
QB, OL, and LBs are average.
Weakness - Special Teams. After watching the spring game I think we'd be better off going for 2 after every touchdown

Did Knile play in the spring game?
Posted on 5/2/12 at 9:26 pm to USMC Gators
No...I don't think he was happy about it

Knile did play the first play of the Spring Game, but that was it. He was motioned out of the backfield on a pass play and Wilson didn't even look at him.

they should have just scripted it so he could of had a touchdown on the first play then never put him back in. Defenders could dive away and fake try to tackle.
