We don't give a crap what POD or division the SEC puts us in as long as they keep OU/ Texas together and keep the Red River Rivalry intact. We will finally be in a conference that runs right again, and our schools want have to be the ones running the show for a bunch of ungrateful peons. We can just sit back and concentrate on growing the brands for once.
As far as Texas and OU having to come beg hat in hand to be in the SEC, that is just fan BS...They are 2 of the top ten winningest programs of all time worth an estimated 2 billion dollars, and one of them is the flagship University of a state with very fertile football recruiting ground..They arent begging anyone for entry...Sounds like there is no humility in the SEC schools so we will fit right in..
With that said, I look forward to the matchups and learning about other SEC schools histories and renewing old heated rivalries and maybe creating some new ones.

I will get some push back but I said the same thing. Texas has a excellent Business School and Engineering School. All those are not racial left wingers. Now, given there are 52,000 students there, I am sure they have lots in their Education, Poly science, Sociology and what I call grievance majors.
As someone who plays and follows Golf, no way the likes of Ben Crenshaw, Tom Kite, Justin Leonard, Brandell Chamblee, Jordan Speith are politically like Bay Area California liberals.
I just don't by that. Someone who names their Son "Reagan" must be an ole Reaganite like I am, so from this LSU fan, welcome Bhud.

I was actually at the RNC at Moody Coliseum in Dallas, in 1984. I was a young teen. Staubach spoke. Vaguely remember Reagan speaking. Ended up back there for the 2nd term of W to see him there the night before election day.
So, possibly a tad younger but yes definitely classify myself as a Reagan Republican...even if we (Republicans in general) aren't as right as we once were.
