You guys brought Brian Harsin to the SEC and now worried about the product.

Should be some fierce competition

It will be fierce for little sister(teasip) and little brother(chokelahoma). It will be just another cupcake win for the rest of the SEC.

Still excited?

When were we ever excited?

What really intrigued me would be to get the old big east back together and add

Penn State
Nd
To Miami, vt, pitt and west Va

Yes because university leaders and financial stakeholders have never made decisions for money that contradict what the vast majority of their fanbase wants. If the fans of SEC teams had gotten a say it would have been an overwhelming no. 95% or more

you make this sound like Texas and OU fans knew anything about this and campaigned for this to happen. We didn't and found out the same time everybody else did.

But this is the direction college football was heading, and every conference was going to have to add teams or eventually fall behind other conferences that are

So you might as well accept it. Still not going to diminish what will be good competition. I don't think a single SEC fanbase, when the time comes, is going to be saying "ugh, nobody's going to want to go to our home game against Texas this week" or "ugh, I can't believe we lost Kentucky on our schedule and had to add OU"

Lol aren't you a Missouri fan?

Be honest with yourself: what percentage of fans in the SEC pre-2012 would've been all for adding the Missouri Tigers to the SEC?

No. SEC should’ve stopped with the ‘92 expansion, IMO.

Nothing against either school, but I am not now nor was I ever excited about them joining the SEC.

In fact, I'd like to see contraction rather than expansion.

SEC’s just adding the old Southwest Conference footprint & I’m stoked. UT v Arkansas has a much richer history than UT v Kansas St.

As an Arkansas fan it gives, IMO, a true rival for Arkansas. However, Texass and Chokelahoma are in for a very rude awakening. Playing one SEC team a year versus every week is completely different. So yes I'm stoked... for both teams getting a slice of humble pie when they do.

Good point. Sark has no idea what he’s in for.

Just like A&M and Missouri received in their first three years, right?

The percentage of SEC fans supporting Mizzou to the conference was higher than the percentage supporting Texas and OU. While Missouri might be a bit midwestern, at least we don’t have delusions of grandeur and a long history of acting extremely selfishly and destroying conferences.

Neither does Texas. We actually win championships and have an athletic program of grandeur

destroying conferences
So when Texas and Oklahoma leave, it's destroying a conference. But when Missouri and A&M do the exact same thing 10 years earlier, they're gallant heroes for doing so?

Or are you saying that a&m and Missouri were incredibly insignificant that it didn't matter whether they left the Big 12, but Texas and OU leaving is debilitating?

Thanks for the compliment!
