Bottom line is both defenses gave up yards and some plays but like good defenses do they didn't break very often. Field goals and missed opportunities for both offenses due to outstanding plays from the other team. I'll never understand the need to tear down the team you just played against. Seems self defeating my dudes.

The auburn fans in my office today are complaining about all the missed holding calls. Showing me screenshots of random plays. It’s hilarious coming from them acting like they don’t get a shite ton of calls in Jordan hare.

So LSU can count the points they left on the field but Auburn can't?

Lulz. There was plenty of doubt after Stingley muffed that punt.

I dont Get worried when gifted TDS tie a game.

Your offense couldn’t move the ball. You had a huge run and settled for a field goal. You got a ball inside the 30. And then did nothing.

You had lots of chances, but you didn’t really do dick with them.

Auburn capitalized on their scoring oppurtunities better than LSU did.

LSU was less efficient but overall better.

Sure we left points on the table, but we also put ourselves in a position to leave points on the table and still out score Auburn.

It could have just as easily been the other way around. When you start playing what if's.

Rule of thumb...

If anyone is ever stroking themselves, keep to yourself. You don't need to get in the middle of that...

Collectively. On average. LSU fans aren't very good with words, huh?

You're basically just proving my point that LSU fans are dumber on average than fans of other schools

Both defenses played great. Auburn’s kept it close for them, LSU’s won it for them.
The game played out and ended close, both teams played hard and it is what it is. There is no need to use the what if game because both sides could what if it till your head explodes but it won’t change what happened. Another close and hard fought game.
My post is not directed to anyone, especially the person I replied to.

Could have been a 7 point Auburn win also...these thoughts are stupid.

In the end the QB play decided the game.

Dude, the score is an accurate indication of the game. One could make an argument that the final TD was garbage, but what if Aubrin had recovered

I'm honestly surprised D.J. Williams didn't break free again for big yards.

For a freshman, he did very well filling in for Whitlow.

Vanderbilt’s Ke’Shawn Vaughn is the only other running back to get 100 yards against LSU this year.

It's really not news that Auburn has offensive issues this year. What is news is that LSU struggled to outscore Auburn.

For LSU's sake, better hope this is their one "off" game of the regular season.

col·lec·tive·ly

/k?'lektivle/

adverb

as a group; as a whole.

Not really.

You basically did the opposite of us. You kicked Easy FG instead of going for it on 4th twice.

You couldn’t have “just as easily” scored on 4th down. You could have “just as easily” had 6 less points if you went for it.

The score is the score. I dont Mind going for it on 4th and short when your offense wasn’t doing anything.
