I'm so jealous of you right now it's not even funny. I've been to England, France and Italy but I'm wanting to go back at some point to see Germany and the nordic countries. Europe is a lot of fun if you're a history buff.

But seriously, the distance from London to Paris is shorter than the distance from Tuscaloosa to New Orleans. There are completely different concepts of time and distance between the two countries.

you have to go. I want to go back and see Eastern Germany. When we went we stayed with my brother-in-law and sister in Lundstuhl. He is a captain in the Air Force and they got to live off base. Flew into Frankfurt and took taxi to their house. We rented a car the second day we were there and drove all over southwest Germany. Suprisingly easy to drive there as they drive on the same side of road as us. As we were leaving Frankfurt to go to see sister we were on the interstate and kept seeing all these signs for Aushfart. After like the 12th sign I told driver that Aushfart must be a big city(I had never heard of it). He looked at me and said "Aushfart mean exit" I never talked to another German the whole time I was there about something I was reading on a sign

Pepperdine is pretty because it's situated in Malibu. The campus's architecture is silly; there's nothing at all special about it.

In short, Pepperdine doesn't have a pretty "campus," its campus is surrounded by a pretty place. That's merely a consequence of someone deciding to put a university in Malibu.

But still, it's gorgeous including the architecture.

ETA: I see your edit

There's a few but I get surprised about how underwhelming a lot of campuses are.

Yeah, saw the typo just a minute ago.

From what I've seen:

Stanford, Duke, Yale, Michigan, UCLA.

Salamanca in Spain is gorgeous. 800 years old. Which just adds to it.

UGA, LSU, Ole Miss and Bama are all awesome. Sewanee, Furman and Rollins are smaller but awesome campuses as well.

Dude, not one school in Oklahoma comes close to qualifying for prettiest anything. The OU and OSU campuses are atrocious when compared to Princeton, Stanford, Notre Dame, UC Santa Barbara, Pepperdine, or even U. of San Diego, U. of Washington, or U. of Arkansas.
