Are the Vols finally good enough to beat the Gators?

It seems like it has been forever. I can't stand Tennessee at all, but it would be nice to have them undefeated for Oct 20th.

Perhaps.

I still think Tennessee beat an average NC State team in Atlanta. I'm not 100% sold on the Vols yet.

I'm not sold yet on them. I don't think the NC State game told us much honestly.

Had guy from Vegas Insider on knoxville radio today.

He said if they were to set the line today it would be -6 or -7 vols.

Maybe, it's too close to call for me.

Obviously we need to wait and see how the Gators look against aTm...

fact is, that average NC State team returned 17 starters from an 8-5 2011 squad, and have, by all accounts, a first round draft pick at QB.

It was a nice win for Tennessee.

Obviously they (NC State) aren't elite, but that team is/was not a pushover, and will still win 8 or 9 ball games this year.

I would be weary of the lack of running in between the tackles if I were a Vol fan. And they seemed to live off the big play against NC State. That won't work week in week out.

While I do agree that we will have to wait a few weeks, they do have one of if not the most talented quarterback(IMO) in the SEC in Tyler Bray

I don't think they are great on D, but again, we'll wait and see

Yes. UT has the Oline to hold up this year and UF still can't score. UFs defense is good, but hasn't taken that next step to become dominant. UT by 10.

I wouldn't be surprised if UF lost to A&M ad well because they have a great Oline second only to Bama

I'm picking the Ags over UF

Florida has massively underachieved lately

Slow down there partner. They play Georgia before us, and I have full faith that Georgia with all their players no longer suspended will be much better.

I am very happy this game is actually on the third Saturday of October instead of the fourth like the past few years
