Or are they going to wait on Link Jarrett?
Would he take it?

Vitello is all Vol but you keep on praying. Fick FSU.

Makes sense an Ole Miss fan would hope for this after our series with you guys.

It’s pretty well known apparently that they want the Notre Dame coach. Everyone at ESPN kept mentioning it.
But my God I want Vitello to get it just for the melt

I pray he stays in Knoxville if the last two years are any indicator at his ability to win in Omaha.

Every SEC team is good at baseball. Having Tennessee good also doesn't scare much

I would understand Link Jarrett considering leaving considering he played on very successful FSU teams in college and the history and fan interest there is premier.
But in today's market, I think he'd be better off staying at a program that he has already built into a consistent contender. To be fair, jury is still out as to whether Chris Beard will have made the right choice leaving for his alma mater, Texas, when he was already essentially offered a statue and lifetime contract in Lubbock at Tech.

Going "Home" isn't always the best call.

Depends on how far they promise to bring the fence in.

After playing in the MS Super last year. Jarrett stated that ND needed to upgrade their facilities if they wanted to compete in baseball. I don't see ND making that kind of investment in baseball and he will be coaching at FSU next year.

Right because we were such a baseball powerhouse before Vitello got here.
Vitello is still a young coach and will only improve. He has already proved to be an elite program builder if nothing else.
Just admit you are scared bitch.

Vitelli is at his last hc job. No AD is going to hire him to embarrass their department!

He hasn't won a single game in Omaha. He hasn't proved anything other than doing less with more.

Why would any sane school want ViteLOL?

I imagine they’ll go after LJ. Vitello runs an embarrassing program even for FSU

Imagine believing this. One bad series against a team in the super doesn't negate our complete dominance as a team overall.
The ONLY reason we lost that game is our pitching coach not being out there to pull Burns before the 7th inning started. Vitello made a bad call there.
Burns is still just a freshman and asking him to pitch the entire game when we got rested aces in the pen was a rookie coaching mistake.
Otherwise we win that game 3-2 worst case scenario and come back stronger than ever for Omaha.
So actually with that being said Gilbert costed us big big time in that second game. But our pitching coach needs to control his temper and emotions. I seriously doubt he puts Burns out there in the 7th though when we got elite fresh arms in the pen.
ND beat us by pitching by committee and using fresh arms. We asked a tru freshman to do it by himself. Dumb coaching decision period and our third baseman's errors made it even worse.
