Tell that to the hawg fan that said brooks lost his starting job at end of season. If it was as you said midseason I guess it means he won the job back. He did start last two regular season games.

He played nickel back so it depended on the defense we were in whether he started or not.

Kelly is recruiting Louisiana Lafayette too. Hell of a program he’s building there.

But when you are a junior and a freshmen is pushing you for your spot...the writing is on the wall.

To me, Joe plays a lot like Anthony Leon did a few years ago. Big and fast enough to play SEC safety and hits like a grown man. But one on one in space against speedy SEC caliber WRs, they both produced highlight reel level WR burn mix tapes. I like Foucha and his mean streaks. Maybe he will grow out of the coverage issues. Wish him all the best.

Meh....Leon was a 6'3 230 lb linebacker trying to play safety. He wanted to be like his cousin Sean Taylor his 1st year at Arkansas then finally made the smart move to linebacker.

Honey badger talent?

Lmao I said the dude has TM7 type playmaking abilities. Didn’t say he had honey badger talent or was in the same class as honey badger at all.
I was simply saying that his hybrid style of play, and his playmaking mentality of go for the big play homerun, or don’t go at all, is exactly how TM7 wrecked shop and made his name.
And this dude is the same way. So you can forgive a blown coverage once in a while, when he’s making multiple TFL’s and sacks, and has multiple pick games, and fumble recoveries as well as FF. Those huge turnover plays, or completely stonewalling a 4th down run for a turnover on downs; all of those game and momentum changing plays, vastly outweigh what he lacks in actual coverage ability.
And this dude, albeit nowhere near TM7’s level, has that same ability to change a game when he’s on the field.

He had one pick in that game but hey, you were close.

Yeah my bad, I should have said that these 2 guys that hog fans are pretending won’t hurt to lose had both of Arkansas’s picks.
Foucha also though broke up the fake field goal to negate the “blown coverage” from earlier; then had a pick that kept Penn state from scoring at the very least, 3. Then turned right around and had like a 10/12 yard sack that ended up being pretty much the game ending and soul crushing blow to Penn St.

Arkansas getting LSU and Bama players. Bama getting LSU players. Meanwhile LSU is getting players from Arkansas and ULL. I love Brian Kelly

That doesn't really describe Foucha...are you confusing him with Catalon?
