Does this keep you up at night?

If it does, I'm quite certain it is to a far lesser degree than 1980, 2nd and 26, and the 2012/2018 SEC CGs assuredly do you.

Yet we're not starting threads about it.

I love advanced stats and my team has won 6 of the last 12 national championships.

He’s all over the place.

“Myles Brennan was as good as JT Daniels”

Stats prove he wasn’t

“Well you aren’t looking at the advanced stats like drops and stuff”

Actually we are

“Advanced stats are for teams in cope mode. At the end of the day all that matters is wins and losses”

Myles was 1-2 as LSU’s starter.

Honestly the worst effort from Sidewalk Tiger I’ve seen in a while.

Been saying this all off-season. He showed flashes, but we just don't have enough data. He also underthrows the deep ball consistently.

Hoping that an off-season will prove me wrong.

Look at his 3sec game stat lines. 1 good, one meh and one not great. He already bombed out (lost his job) in a high power O once.

Because he couldn't step into his throws due to a knee injury.

We have already gone over how this is inaccurate, and it’s stupid to flat out throw out a team much better than the vols.

So we’re ignoring the 390 yard performance against a top ten team?

Lost his job because he suffered a season ending injury.

He under throws deep balls. Other than that, he's a baller.

But he was underthrowing deep balls at USC prior to his knee injury too. His lower body mechanics are different than the large majority of QBs. There's a good video about it out there on YouTube from Brooks Austin. The gist is Daniels tries to time his release with "popping" his front foot up instead of the more accepted way of stepping into a throw in a more pitcher-like manner. I'm afraid that if he chooses to continue with these mechanics that he'll never truly throw a consistently great deep ball.

Maybe. He only played 4 games last year and played well despite missing significant time. Either way the sample size is too small for any definitive evaluation.

You can`t compare Myles Brennan to JT .Look at their supporting casts.LSU lost 9 Starters on O including a
hiesman trophy winner and 4 other players that started in
the NFL.JT and geo were stacked, alot of returning players.
Geo`s problem will always be Kirby Smart. His O philosphy
sucks.Reminds me of Les Miles in use of talent.LM destroyed
Offense at LSU,just like KS.

The front 5 are going to get that guy hurt. They couldn’t block anyone in the bowl game.

There's truth to this statement. LT Truss and C Ericson were pretty darn bad at pass blocking in that bowl game. The other three did well though. Those spots need to shore up badly for JT not be pressured too much.

I watched the same Brooks Austin breakdown, which was well done. Brooks wasn't that hard on him. You are exaggerating.

Who would have thought a troll topic from a Bama fan about Georgia would get the swamp kittens so upset.

Doesn't Georgia open with Clemson? I'll tell you right after the game.
